Justin Labagh Head Coach

Coach Labagh has just finished his 8th season as Head Coach with a 218-41 Record (.841)
Won 2010-2011 State Championship with an overall record of 32-1
Voted 2005-06, 2007-2008, 2010-2011 California Community College Coach of the Year
Voted , 2004-05, 2005-06, 2006-07, 2007-08, 2008-08, and 2010-2011
Coast Conference Coach of the Year
Earned 2004-05, 2005-06, 2006-07, 2007-08, 2008-09, and 2010-11 Coast Conference Championships
Has made three Sweet Sixteen Appearances, one Elite Eight appearance, two Final Fours, one State Championship runner-up, and 2011 State Championship.
Has graduated all but one student athlete, with players earning 23
Division I scholarships and seven Division II scholarships.
Coached seven league MVP's, 28 All-League players, 15 All-State
players and two California Players of the year.
Coach Labagh played at under Todd Bozmen and Ben Braun – reaching the NCAA tourney 1st round in 1995-96, and sweet sixteen in 1997-98.
Former players Coach Labagh Played with at Cal - Shareef Abdur-Rahim of the Sacramento Kings, Sean Marks of the Phoenix Suns, Francesco Elson of the San Antonio Spurs, Michael (Yogi) Stewart of the Atlanta Hawks, Ed Gray of the Atlanta Hawks, Tremaine Fowlkes of the Indiana Pacers, and Tony Gonzalez of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Coach Labagh Spent the 2001-02 season at doing an internship under Coach Bob Knight.
The thirty-three old Labagh is married to the former Layla Izadi and they have a baby boy named Steele and a daughter named Soheila "Soli"

Adam D. D'Acquisto Assistant Coach

Adam D’Acquisto is entering his sixth season as an assistant coach to the men’s basketball program. Coach D’Acquisto’s duties include recruiting, scouting, skill development, fundraising, and travel coordination. Adam also serves as the City College of San Francisco basketball camp director.
Adam played for the Rams during the 1999-2000 season and helped the team win a Coast Conference Championship. After the season, Adam became the head boy’s junior varsity coach at Saint Ignatius College Preparatory in San Francisco. From 2000-2002, Adam led his J.V. team to two consecutive WCAL championships before serving for one year as an assistant on the varsity under legendary California high school coach Don Lippi.
Adam earned his B.S. in Managerial Economics from UC Davis in 1999 and completed his M.A. in Sports Management from the University of San Francisco in 2003.
Prior to teaching at CCSF, Adam started and ran the youth basketball program at the Olympic Club in San Francisco.

Tom McNichol Assistant Coach

Tom McNichol has been teaching English for CCSF since 1984. Graduated from Bucknell University and captained the basketball team 1977-1978. Received his Master of Arts in English from San Francisco State University in 1984. Has been working with the basketball team since 1999. Besides coaching, Tom oversees the academic progress of the players and conducts study hall on a regular basis.
In his free time, Tom enjoys helping Bay Area high school players pass the SAT test to qualify for Division I scholarships. Some of his past tutees include John Winston, (UNLV/St Mary’s), Antonio Kellogg (UCONN/ USF), Quentin Thomas, (North Carolina), Larry Gurganious, (Gonzaga), Dior Lowhorn (Texas Tech/USF), Devanei Hampton, CAL, Eli Holman (Indiana).
Tom lives in Oakland, is married and has three daughters. Tom’s wife, Julita also teaches Spanish at CCSF in the Transitional Studies Department.

Derrick Lott Assistant Coach
Derek is a San Francisco native, who graduated from George Washington High School in 1978, and earned his B.A. in Counseling from Sacramento State University in 1983, where he played two years. Derek coached football and basketball at Saint Lawerence Academy for 4 years prior to joining the CCSF staff. Derek is the father of two daughters Elana 23, who is in graduate school at Sarah Lawerence, and Imani 16, who is a junior at St. Mary's High School in Berkeley. Currently, Derek is pursuing his PHD in Counseling.
