Dory Rincon graduated from City College of San Francisco with an Associates of Science and Award of Achievement in Medical Office Assisting in 1978.  She became a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in 1979.  She earned a Bachelor's of Arts in Health Services Administration from St. Mary's College, and a Master's of Arts in Education with a concentration in Adult Education from San Francisco State University.  Along the way, she completed the Health Information Technology Program and became a Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT).  She is a member of the American Association of Medical Assistants, American Health Information Management Association, California Health Information Association, American Academy of Professional Coders, and the California Association of Medical Assistant Instructors.
