JOB MATCHING
Employers contact us with jobs which we match with qualified students. We will forward your resume for specific jobs when your skills match the employer's requirements and the job matches what you're seeking. Employers contact students directly to schedule interviews. This service is open to all Business students who post resumes on the Job Stop website.
MONTHLY E-REPORT
We also send micro-resumes to over 1,000 employers each month containing a summary of your skills and your contact information. Employers contact you directly to interview.
In today's tough economy it's wise to use a variety of resources to support your job search, including online jobs, no-fee employment agencies, networking with professional and personal contacts, cold-calling employers and using employment services like the Business Employment Program.
You'll need a well written, professional looking resume for any job you apply for, and when you apply on your own, a personalized cover letter for each job you apply for is a must. The cover letter should emphasize how your skills match the specific job you are applying for. Please see the City College Career Center for help with resumes and cover letters.
