Welcome to the Business Department at City College of San Francisco. We offer a wide variety of academic and vocational  programs to prepare students for employment or for transer to four year colleges and universities. We offer both credit and noncredit classes where students can sharpen their skills in the business practices and technology used today.l


Classes meet during the day, in the evenings, and on weekends and are offered at many campuses throughout San Francisco. City College of San Francisco is fully accredited.

Educational Programs

The Business Department offers an array of degree and certificate programs. Please click on your area of interest for detailed information. Program Coordinator contact information is located on the home page of each program listed below.

 

Credit and Noncredit Business Courses

Students earn college units for successfully completed credit courses which can be taken individually or as part of an Associate Degree or Business Certificate program. Most credit courses are fully transferable to 4-year colleges and universities. 

Tuition-free noncredit classes can be taken individually or as part of a noncredit Business Certificate program.

 

Noncredit Business Certificate Programs

The Business Department offers many noncredit certificate programs in the areas of Accounting, Green and Sustainable Business, Business Office Technology and Computer Applications,  International Business, and Small Business. Classes are tuition free and offered at campuses located throughout San Francisco.

 

Class Locations

Most credit courses are offered in the day and evening at the Ocean Campus, and many are available at the Downtown Campus, Mission Campus, and online.

Noncredit courses are held in the day and evening at the Chinatown/North Beach Campus, Downtown Campus, Mission Campus, and Southeast Campus, and in the day at the John Adams Campus and Civic Center Campus.
