African-American Scholastic Program/High School Transitional Studies

Program Description:
In partnership with San Francisco Unified School District, the AASP provide high school students with the opportunity to earn high school credits to complete high school graduation requirements

Target Audience:
All high school juniors (11th grade) and seniors (12th grade) are eligible to apply for City College of San Francisco (AASP) high school Transitional Studies classes.

College For Teens

Program Description:
Summer fee-based program for any incoming 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students entering high school in the Fall semester.  Website: www.ccsf.edu/collegeforteens

Transitional Studies Department

Program Description:
The City College of San Francisco High School Diploma program offers high school classes in specific subjects in the areas of Natural Sciences, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Humanities, English and Mathematics. 

  • Year-round program for 11th and 12th graders. Students may enroll by submitting a PRINCIPAL/DESIGNEE RECOMMENDATION FORM and a PARENT/GUARDIAN CONSENT and following the CCSF Noncredit concurrent enrollment process.
  • Out of school youth over 18 years of age may enroll in the CCSF High School Diploma Program by following the regular CCSF Noncredit registration process. Prior high school and college credits may be transferred to the program.

Target Audience:
The City College of San Francisco High School Diploma Program is open to adult and out-of-school students who meet placement requirements. The program is also open to concurrently enrolled high school students who are in the 11th or 12th grades and who require high school credits to transfer to their home high schools.
