This class is for anyone who wants a solid introduction to Investments and Investing. If you know nothing about investments, or, maybe you know just a little and know that you need to learn more, this is the class for you.

Topics covered include: important and frequently used investment terms and concepts; common stock and preferred stock; government, corporate and municipal bonds; open and closed ended mutual funds; portfolio diversification and its importance.

The goal of this class is threefold. First, teach you some important investment terms and concepts. Second, prove to you that investments are not something to be intimidated by, you can learn this. Third, to convince you that it is important for you to know about your investments. Mike Walsh is a former Stock Broker and Bond Broker who will introduce you to the world of investing in a fun, pressure free environment. Student Feedback
