The purpose of the Ad Hoc SLO Committee is to:
- coordinate student outcomes assessment work;
- promote pervasive, robust, college-wide dialogue on student learning;
- structure documentation to make student learning outcomes work more visible

Membership
The Ad Hoc Student Learning Outcomes Committee is a quadripartite committee, consisting of faculty, administrators, classified staff, and students:
- Seven faculty are appointed by the Executive Council of the Academic Senate
- Two administrators are appointed by the Chancellor (or his/her designee)
- Two classified staff member are appointed by SEIU
- Two students are appointed by the Executive Council of the Associated Students
