Bio:  

Gwen Mazer is an author, personal style consultant, speaker and workshop leader.She has been featured in a wide variety of media including The New Yorker, Vogue, Women’s Wear Daily, ABC- Affiliate KGO, View From the Bay, The San Francisco Chronicle, Comcast CNN and the Tavis Smiley Show.

She was honored as a Literary Laureate by the Friends and Foundation of the San Francisco Public Library.

The Women Of Color Gathering is an annual event sponsored by the Women's Resource Center at City College. Its purpose is to bridge the gap between Black History Month and Women's History Month. This year our gathering will be focused on education. Special guest speakers will include Shanell Williams, Associated Students Council President of Ocean Campus, and Sekani Moyenda, an African American elementary school teacher at Rosa Parks Elementary School.
