Crime: Theft

Date: February 28, 2014

Location: Wellness Center, 1st Floor

Summary:
On the afternoon of Friday, February 28, 2014, a student left his backpack unattended in the hallway on the lower level (first floor) of the Wellness Center which was stolen nearly two hours later. Below are photos of the two suspects possibly responsible for taking the backpack. The female suspect carries a pink backpack and the male subject wears a grey backpack. Campus police is asking for any information regarding the suspects and the stolen property.

Crime Alert issued on 2/12/2014

Crime: Robbery with a Gun

Date: February 12, 2014

Location: Science Hall, Men's Restroom, 2nd Floor

Summary:
On Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 6:15 p.m., a robbery occurred in the Science building, second floor men’s bathroom.  The victim (CCSF student) stated that on his way out of the restroom, the suspect came out from one of the bathroom stalls and pointed a gun at him. The suspect told the victim to give up his watch, wallet, and backpack and he wouldn’t get shot.  The suspect also demanded the victim’s cellular phone, which the victim was not in possession of one; the suspect then used the weapon to conduct a pat search of the victim’s pockets.

Suspect Description:
Black male, approximately 5’10”, about 150-160 pounds.  He was wearing dark clothing with a black hoodie.  Also, he was wearing a black bandana covering his nose and mouth.  The weapon is described as a black semi-automatic pistol possibly a “Berreta” model.

Crime: Robbery with Force

Date: August 22, 2013

Location: Ocean Ave and Howth St. (near Wellness Center)

Summary:
On Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 8:45 p.m., a robbery by force took place at the intersection of Ocean Avenue and Howth Street. The victim  a CCSF student stated that she was using her cellular phone as she was walking on Howth Street near Geneva.  The suspect approached from the rear and pushed her to the ground grabbing the Iphone from her hand. The suspect was last seen running southbound on Howth Street towards Geneva Avenue.

Suspect Description:
Black male, 20-25 years old, about 5’6”, wearing a black sweatshirt and grey sweatpants. No known weapons were used or seen.

Crime Alert issued on 5/08/2013

Crime: Robbery With a Knife

Date: May 8, 2013

Location: Creative Arts

Summary:
On Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 1:05 p.m., a robbery took place on the 1st floor men’s restroom of Creative Arts. The suspect approached the victim and pulled out a knife approximately 6 - 7 inches in length and ordered to give him his belongings. The suspect took out cash out of victim's wallet and returned the wallet back to the victim. The suspect told the victim to count to 30 before leaving the restroom.  The victim saw the suspect exit the restroom and walk eastbound down the hall towards Visual Arts.

Suspect Description:
Black male, 24-27 years old, 5’8” in height, skinny built, short black hair, and brown eyes.  He was wearing brown slacks, a black coat with collar, and black gloves.

Crime: Robbery with a Gun

Date: April 6, 2013

Location: Wellness Center

Summary:
On Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 11:18 a.m., a robbery took place in the 2nd floor men’s restroom of the Wellness Center.  The victims were approached by two suspects and asked if they had drugs for sale.  The victims told them they don’t sell drugs.  Suspect#1 pulled out a silver semi-automatic handgun, pointed it at them and said: ”Give me your money and your phones”.  The victims gave them their belongings. Suspect#1 then said: ”Wait five minutes before you leave the bathroom or I’ll kill you”.  Suspects fled in an unknown direction.


Suspect Description:
Suspect #1:
Black male, medium complexion, 25-30 years old, 6’1”, 170 lbs., short black hair, and brown eyes.  He had a silver colored “grill” in his mouth and was wearing a grey hoodie sweatshirt with grey sweatpants.
Suspect #2: Black male, dark complexion, 25-30 years old, 5’10”, 160 lbs., with black/brown shoulder-length dreadlocks.  He was wearing a medium length black jacket and blue jeans.

Crime Alert issued on 4/04/2013

Crime: Robbery with a Gun

Date: April 4, 2013

Location: Howth St. and Geneva Ave

Summary:
On Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 1:50 p.m., a robbery took place on Howth St. at Geneva Ave.  The victims were sitting on the front stairs of a house on Howth St. near Geneva Ave. The suspects approached them and asked if they were selling marijuana. The victims said “no”. After a quick chat, the suspects started to walk away, but then stopped. Suspect #1 then pointed a silver colored semi-automatic handgun and ordered the victims to empty their pockets. Suspect #2 lifted up his jacket to reveal a “Mac 10” type assault weapon in his waistband. Suspect #1 took their belongings and put them into a brown back pack with white and black stripes on it. The suspects told the victims to walk away and don’t look back. The suspects fled in an unknown direction.

Suspect Description:
Suspect #1:
Black male, dark complexion, 18-20 years old, 6’, 180-190 lbs., with short “boxed” cut hair.  He was wearing a grey zip up “Nike” sweatshirt, and black “Levis” jeans. He had clear colored braces on his teeth and a space between his two front teeth. He also was described as having acne and a “big forehead”.
Suspect #2:
Black male, 18-20 years old, 5’11”, 165 lbs., with shoulder-length brown dreadlocks.  He was wearing a blue colored baseball cap, blue windbreaker with a red zipper, white t-shirt and light blue jeans.  He was described as having a tattoo on the left side of his neck.  A partial description of the tattoo was that it had flames.
