| How can you find a BOOK?
In most libraries you now use a computer to search for a book. Librarians call these computers OPACs which stands for Online Public Access Catalog. Basically, it's a list of all the books and usually other materials (CDs, films, audiocassettes) that a library owns. You can search it by title, author, and subject. There may be other search options also. CityCat, the CCSF online catalog looks like this:
