Letís Talk About It: Modern Marvels Ė Jewish Adventures in the Graphic Novel
What is it?
A series of scholar-led reading-discussion programs covering five different graphic novels treating Jewish themes offered by CCSF Libraries, CCSF sponsors and community partners. The purpose is to encourage the reading, discussion and appreciation of graphic novels. To read the introductory essay by the Let's Talk About It national scholar, Dr. Jeremy Dauber, click on this link
Who can attend?
This is a free series for the San Francisco community facilitated by project scholar, CCSF English Department instructor Dr. Craig Kleinman. Everyone is welcome, although advance sign-up is required since participation is limited to 55 people. Since this is a reading discussion series, participants are expected to read the books before attending the program sessions. The project scholar hopes that participants will attend as many of the program sessions as possible, but it is not required to attend all 5 program sessions.
