Welcome to City College of San Francisco.
As Chancellor of City College of San Francisco, I’m proud to say that City College’s International Students Program is one of the best and largest in the United States. There are currently over 1200 students from 90 countries studying at our various campuses in San Francisco. We hold a special graduation reception for our international students, at which students representing numerous countries join us in celebrating their academic achievements at City College.
I hope that potential international students and their parents will consider City College of San Francisco as their best choice for higher education in the United States. Should international students require extra assistance in English, I encourage them to consider first our Intensive English Program. Once students are more fluent in English, they can enroll in any one of our 50 academic programs or 100 vocational disciplines leading to an AA/AS degree. The International Students Program has its own support staff including qualified counselors to help the student select a successful career path. We have an outstanding faculty, all of whom have master’s degrees, and many holding doctorates. The College offers two full semesters and a summer session. Tuition fees for international students are among the lowest in the nation, and living in the beautiful city of San Francisco, one of the top tourist destinations in the world, is a pleasant experience. I look forward to welcoming you to City College of San Francisco.
Sincerely,
Dr. Don Q. Griffin Chancellor
