I have been teaching at CCSF since Spring 2011.
I enjoy two way learning. I believe that the student can instruct the teacher just as the teacher can instruct the student. I learn a tremendous amount from my students. They bring their own experience and knowledge into the classroom.
I believe that everyone needs to learn how to problem solve and use critical thinking skills. Learning why something is the way it is is much more interesting than memorizing and regurgitating it on a test.
I also work for American Medical Response as an EMT/FTO.
I enjoy snowskiing, watching movies, reading books, being with friends and family, and road trips
