Lisa Marie Duke

Automotive/Motorcycles/Construction & Building Maintenance Department

I believe education is an on-going process; I expose myself to as much information as possible. I have worked in the motorcycle industry since the early 90’s, specializing in Japanese bikes. I have also worked as a welder, fabricator, and as an electrician. I am ASE certified, trained in CNG, and have a major interest in alterative transportation. I enjoy teaching because it is a great opportunity to help open the door the personal empowerment. I cultivate a cohort learning style in the class and shop.

Chair, Automotive/Motorcycles/Construction & Building Maintenance Department

B.A., Antioch University
M.A., San Francisco State University

An instructor at CCSF for the past twenty two years, Professor Macri loves to teach and believes that a good student makes a good teacher.

If he is not more excited about the art and craft of teaching and leadership now than when he began, just burn em' up and cast the ashes into the winds...his Campus dean, Associate Vice Chancellor Phyllis McGuire keeps calling him a Hippie...he considers that an honor!

A dedicated artist, humanist and non-conformist, Professor Macri consults on solar electric home design and electric car repair. His interests also include alternative energy and sustainable living. This year after a B-man installation, he erected a wind turbine on his house and is also running a bio-diesel car with a parallel vegetable oil system. Think this about his personality: Turbo-charged bee seeking the honey and passion of life's experiences and opportunities.

Professor Macri claims his interests too numerous to describe here. "Let's talk face to face!!!", he says.
