Mr. Diaz has taught at CCSF for the past 10 years. He also has been a Faculty Advisor for the student AERO club.

Mr. Diaz' educational philosophy is that "in today's ever-changing job market, everyone should learn a trade. Vocational trade schools are for everyone regardless of job status, age, educational level, gender, race or nationality."

He is a retired U.S. Air Force Captain and holds an FAA Airframe and Powerplant Technician Certificate.

Mr. Diaz is an active member of the American Legion and the Vietnam Veterans of America.

Professor Lyles holds an FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.

She encourages her students to do their best in all that they endeavor and to enjoy the process of learning.

She was Project Director, Links Grant (1996-1999) whose purpose was to encourage women to enter non-traditional careers. The Links Grant provided the opportunity for job shadowing, tool loaner kits, book loaners, stipends and tutoring.

Professor Lyles wrote and administered a Vatea grant for equipment. She serves as mentor for new faculty. She is trained in DACUM curriculum design.

Professor Lyles is a member of PAMA- Professional Aviation Maintenance Association.

Mr. Palma has taught at CCSF for 12 years.

His educational goal is to provide up-to-date instruction, in order to help students be prepared for the Aircraft Maintenance Industry.

Mr. Palma holds an FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate.
