How do I request my CCSF transcripts?
A CCSF transcript
will be issued upon written, signed request. The request must be received by mail, fax, or in person. We do not take
requests by phone or by e-mail. You can either fill out CCSF Transcript
Request Form by downloading from CCSF website or request in writing.

Requests in writing must include all of
the information below:
- Current Name and Name while attending CCSF (if
different from current name)
- Student ID or Last Four Digits
of Your Social Security Number (We might request that you provide us with the complete social
security number if we are unable to find your records)
- Date of Birth
- Dates of Attendance (Approximate)
(You must indicate if you are currently attending CCSF and if you
want to include the grades for the current semester.)
- Number of Copies
- Mailing Address(es) for Transcripts
- Student’s Current
Address
- Daytime Phone
Number
- Student’s Signature **is a must**
We offer two types of service - Regular and Rush:
| Regular service: |
It takes 2 to 3 weeks to process, and 4 to 5 weeks
during peak periods (January, February, June, July, and August). |
| Rush service: |
It takes 2 to 3 business days to process, and 4 to 5
business days during peak periods (January, February, June, July,
and August). Rush does not apply to the archived records prior to
1983. We accept faxed Rush requests only if you can pick up the
transcript. |
Transcript Fees:
The
first two transcripts (Regular)
requested are free of charge. Thereafter
for each transcript:
- $5 for Regular
- $10 for Rush

Payment Methods:
We accept cash, checks, and money orders
(credit cards only if pay in person). Please send your
request with payment, and make checks payable to City College of San Francisco to the address below: (Please write your CCSF ID
number or the last four digits of your social security number on the check or
money order.) Pay in

3 is the maximum number of transcripts you
can request by fax.
Mailing Service :
| Transcripts are mailed first class mail and
we don’t offer express mailing service. The requests must be mailed
with payment, or pay at pick up. |
Pick up transcripts in person: go to Transcript Dept., Conlan Hall, E107.
| Transcript requests to be picked
up by a third party must be accompanied by a signed written
authorization from the student. This written authorization must
specify the name of the person and what the person is authorized to do. |
HOLDS must be cleared with the proper office before a
transcript can be issued.
IGETC with transcript request: student must see a counselor
and complete all preliminary paperwork before requesting IGETC. No Rush
service.

* CCSF transcripts do not contain midterm grades or courses in progress. For requests for current semester
grades to be included in the transcript, submit your Transcript Request not
earlier than May 8th for Spring; June
18th for Summer; and Dec. 8th for Fall semester.
* Only Credit
courses taken at CCSF will appear on the transcript. Transcripts from high schools and other
colleges will not be forwarded.
