Prof. Padam has been teaching at CCSF since 2013

Deepika Padam is the founder and Principal of BLEND architecture in San Francisco. Licensed architect since 2008, Deepika earned her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Guru Nanak Dev University and Master of Architecture degree from the University of Michigan. Deepika has worked for a number of architecture firms with over 12 years of professional work experience, and has been engaged with the AIA through volunteer service and leadership roles in local, regional and national venues. Her prominent leadership roles include serving as the President for AIA and USGBC local chapters, and Editor-in-Chief for national Young Architects Forum. She is a versatile architect with an environmental consciousness, collaborative approach, global perspective and cultural sensitivity. Her diverse design experience includes civic, education, justice, commercial, residential, and transportation facilities. She has received honors for her work and service, recently winning the national 2013 AIA Young Architects Award and AIA Committee on Design Knowledge Scholarship.
