Kevin Sherman is a new addition to the Cinema Department faculty and is teaching CINE 20A - Film History: Evolution of Film Expression in Fall 2013. He previously has taught a variety of film studies courses at both San Francisco State University and the University of Florida. Kevin is currently finishing his dissertation on autobiographical documentary at the University of Florida. His research interests include documentary, ethnographic film and video, experimental film, and film aesthetics. He most recently completed an essay on Michael Haneke's Caché for the 2nd edition of Film Analysis: A Norton Reader, edited by Jeffrey Geiger and R.L. Rutsky, forthcoming later in 2013.
