Although learning physics is a lot of work, most students can find the study of physics to be a rewarding experience. This is true for &>quot;hard core science types&>quot;, persons taking a general survey course, or someone just picking up a popular book on the subject.

Dr. King personalizes his strategies and goals for each student and for each course that he teaches. His overall objective is to keep the material interesting and relevant through the use of active learning and conceptual understanding.

His extracurricular activities include fly-fishing, reading and hiking.
