Prof. Huot has been teaching at CCSF since 2001. She has been teaching EFL/ESL since 1994.
Bophany Huot currently teaches ESL/EFL to college students. She has taught academic English, non-credit ESL, Literacy, TOEFL, Adult Ed, Vocational ESL (VESL), Vocational Office Training Program (VOTP), Cambridge First Certificate Exam (FCE) and Cambridge English Advanced (CAE). Earlier in her career when she was with Teach For America, Prof Huot taught ESL to junior high school students for the District of Columbia Public Schools. Her latest project is digital literacy in the field of English as as a Foreign Language and linguistics. She trains both teachers and students to apply technology in order to maximize English language acquisition. She has taught blended courses in her EFL courses. She has given numerous presentations at local and international conferences on the topics of digital literacy and what it means for English language acquisition.

Educational Philosophy
Learning must be fun, engaging, and meaningful. Learning should not be limited to just the classroom. The whole word is our classroom.
