As a music historian, Dr. Kamatani has a special interest in the music of J. S. Bach. She is also a pianist with extensive teaching and accompanying experience. Although she has taught at institutions ranging from San Quentin State Prison to UC Berkeley, she especially enjoys CCSF, where she can connect with students at all levels. She teaches Music Appreciation, Musicianship, Harmony, and Piano.
