Biography

Women's health has been my passion since my college days, when the Women's Health Movement was providing women a personal perspective into the pains of sexism, as well as "click" moments sharing experiences with health care and learning to reclaim our bodies. " In the Fall Semester 1982, I created CCSF's Women's Health Issues course, and delight in teaching generations of students. Increasingly I emphasize the spiritual, emotional and holistic dimensions of women's health, along with the physical and political. I enjoy hiking, yoga, QiGong, organic gardening, KFOG, and living in S.F.
