This program will acquaint participants with many aspects of Thailand, Laos and Vietnam, specifically the people, culture and landscapes of these countries. Participants will have a chance to visit historical sites and acquire knowledge that will help them to integrate a new perspective into their studies and or curriculum, and gain a better understanding of the Thai, Laotian and Vietnamese communities in the United States. Lectures and informal discussions will be in English and will take place at museums, monuments, temples, sites of historic and cutural interest, and during city tours.

Participants in the Winter Break in the Thailand, Laos and Vietnam program will be lodged in hotels throughout Thailand, Laos and Vietnam.

This program is offered during the Winter Break, and provides transferable credit from CCSF for courses completed overseas.
