Although the San Francisco Community College District has attempted to determine the accuracy of this brochure, the district does not assume any liability with respect to the contents of the brochure. Courses offered together with other related matters contained herein, are subject to change without notice by the administration or governing board of the San Francisco Community College District for reasons related to enrollment, finances, scheduling, dates, costs or for any other reason at the discretion of the District.

The District further reserves the right to add, amend or repeal any of its rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

Travel, housing meals and other logistical arrangements are provided by a contracting agency not affiliated with San Francisco Community College District.

Participants will be required to sign a travel request and release which will exonerate the District from any liability. The District assumes responsibility only for providing a supervising instructor and appropriate academic units for the courses.

All courses are subject to approval by the governing board of San Francisco Community College District. All students must enroll for course credit (CR/NCR option available when indicated in the catalogue); no auditors are allowed. Units and course grades will be awarded by City College of San Francisco.

WAVIER OF RESPONSIBILITY

For Academic Experiences Abroad (AEA) gives notice that all tickets and coupons issued by them and all arrangements for transport or conveyance, or for hotel accommodations are made by them as agents upon the express condition that they shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularities which may be occasioned either by reason or by defect in any vehicle or through the act or default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passenger, or in carrying out the arrangements of the tour(s), or otherwise in connection therewith, or of any hotel proprietor or servant. AEA and / or associated companies accept no responsibility for loss or additional expenses due to delays or changes in flight, train, boat, steamer or other services, sickness, weather, strikes, war quarantine, other causes or acts of God. All tour itineraries and fares may be affected by alteration in steamship, air or railroad services of the various countries, or by other causes. The right is also reserved to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of any tour at any time. All fares shown are based on the present value of the U.S. dollar, and in current tariffs, and are subject to confirmation or adjustment (either way) until day of departure. The right is reserved to cancel the tour prior to departure. In such case, full refund of all payments will constitute full settlement with the passenger (please see "Cancellation" section). The airlines concerned are not held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board their planes or conveyance. The passenger contract in use by the airlines concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and purchaser of these tours and /or passenger. Any and /or all transportation companies herein mentioned shall have or incur no responsibility or liability to any traveler aside from their liability as common characters.
