- Personal expenses, such as phone calls, laundry, postage, liquor, etc.
- Drinks at meals are not included, other than table water or tea, which is common in Southeast Asia

CITY COLLEGE OF SAN FRANCISCO TUITION AND FEES
Residents of California must pay a $36 per unit enrollment fee, plus a per-semester fee of $17 to City College of San Francisco at the time of registration. Non-residents of California pay $223 per unit fee, plus a per-semester fee of $17. Please consult the CCSF Study Abroad Advisor at 415/239-3778 for further information. Fees are set by the State of California and are subject to change.
ELIGIBILITY AND TRANSFERABILITY
It is recommended that you discuss your participation in the Winter break in Thailand, Laos and Vietnam program with the Coordinator of the CCSF Study Abroad Office prior to application. For an appointment, call (415) 239-3778. Attendance at a pre-departure orientation meeting is mandatory. Out-of-state students and others not living in Northern California are encouraged to complete counseling and orientation by telephone and mail correspondence. ASAM 42 is transferable to both the UC and the CSU systems.
FINANCIAL AID AND SCHOLARSHIPS
Students currently attending City College of San Francisco may be eligible for grant or loan assistance through the Financial Aid Office. For an application, please visit www.ccsf.edu/Services/Financial_Aid/ or call (415) 239-3575. Students who have completed at least 12 units at CCSF may apply for scholarships ranging from $50 - $500. For further information and an application, please call the Study Abroad Office at (415) 239-3778.
HOW TO ENROLL
The program brochure and application are avaliable on this site or can be emailed to you. If you would like the brochure and application emailed to you, please send an email to Jill Heffron, CCSF Study Abroad Coordinator, at jheffron@ccsf.edu. Please note that applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis, and space is limited. Participants will be required to complete an application and additional paper work for CCSF, as well as additional paperwork for AEA, which will be sent to you once the completed program application has been submitted to and processed by AEA.
WINTER BREAK 2011-2012 PAYMENT SCHEDULE
- Sept 20: $350 Non-refundable deposit, unless program does not run
- Oct 20: $1,725 payment
- Nov 20: $1,700 payment
A $350 deposit must be received by AEA by September 20, 2012 to confirm space. Acceptance in the program is on a first come, first served basis. Space is limited. After September 25th, applications will be
accepted as space and deadlines permit. Your deposit will be returned immediately if space is not available. A first payment of $1700 will be due on October 20, 2012. A second and final payment of $1725 will be
due on November 20, 2012. Payment arriving at AEA after November 20, 2012 will be subject to a late fee of $100.
CANCELLATIONS
All cancellation requests must be made in writing and are effective on the date of receipt at AEA. Once the deposit has been made, the following cancellation fees will be applied:
- Sept 20- Oct 20: $350 deposit
- Oct 21 - Nov 21: $650 + $350 deposit
- Nov 21 - Nov 25: $2000 + $350 deposit
- Nov 26 - Departure: No refund
There are no refunds on, or after the day of departure. No partial refunds are possible for unused accommodations, air or land travel, unused or missed meals, transfers or tours. AEA reserves the right to cancel this program prior to departure for any reason, including insufficient participants. Should this happen, full refund will be made to the participants.
