Scholarships

There are many scholarships available for studying abroad. Some are specific to a school or organization, others to a particular country. Each scholarship should be investigated individually for its eligibility requirements and application process.

Below I have listed a scholarship exclusively for students studying abroad on a City College of San Francisco program, followed by links to listings of general (multi-continent or country) and continent or country specific study abroad scholarships, as well as scholarship resources. CCSF PROGRAM SCHOLARSHIPS

ACCENT/CCSF Scholarship

Program Overview:

ACCENT and CCSF have been partners since 1985 when both offered their first study abroad program in France. In honor of this long-standing partnership, and as way to help out deserving, low-income students, the ACCENT/CCSF scholarship was established. One to two scholarships are available for each semester program offered by ACCENT and CCSF during the academic year.

Eligibility:

  1. Must have completed 12.0 units at City College of San Francisco
  2. Must be in good academic standing
  3. Must be able to show financial need
  4. Must be participating in a CCSF Semester Study Abroad Program in Paris, Florence, or Madrid, or the Summer Program in Rome.

Award:

Scholarships of up to $1,000 are available to students studying on CCSF/ACCENT Programs in Paris, Florence, or Madrid who meet the eligibility requirements. Please contact: studyabroad@ccsf.edu for further information and a scholarship application or call our office at 415-239-3778.

Summer and Winter Break Program Scholarships:

Scholarships of up to $500 are generally available to CCSF students who have successfully completed a minimum of 12.0 units at CCSF prior to application. Applicants much also be in good academic standing at CCSF, and able to show financial need.
