  PARTICIPANT HOUSING

In Rome students will live in double/triple bedrooms in shared student apartments in a student residence located inthe Trastevere district. In Florence students live in double rooms in shared student apartments located throughout Florence, within walking distance or a short bus ride to the school and city center. Single rooms are available in all housing, but are limited, not guaranteed, and require a supplement of $700. Student apartments included shared kitchen and bathroom facilities.

Accommodations include beds, a closet or armoire, sheets, blankets and pillows. Kitchen facilities include a stove, refrigerator, cooking utensils, and dishes. Kitchen and bathroom facilities are shared by everyone in the apartment. Housing is provided from the first day of the program
(January 20, 2011 for the Spring 2011 program and January 19, 2012 for the Spring 2012 program). Early arrivals cannot be accommodated.

TRANSPORTATION

All participants must arrive in Rome on January 20, 2011 (spring 2011) and January 19, 2012 (spring 2012) between 9 am and 5 pm. (NOTE: Most transatlantic flights depart one day before their arrival date). Students are responsible for arranging their own transportation between the US and Rome.
