Trouble-shooting
the Speech Tutorial
What should
I do if I cannot find the CCSF online website?
One of the
biggest mistakes that people make when trying to access the CCSF online
website is typing the address incorrectly. Make certain you type, http://online.ccsf.edu
. Please notice that there is not a “www” in this address.
Why can’t
I login?
Login in
problems are usually caused by incorrectly typing the CCSF student ID
or password. The login and password are case sensitive. The CCSF student
ID number usually begins with a capital W and has 8 numbers. If your student
ID begins with @, type capital X and the numbers. You must use capital
W or capital X and you must type the number 0, not the letter o.
Example:
W00023453 or X00357891
But I logged
in and now I cannot access my class?
Sometimes
when students create a student account they do so in the wrong course
section. Refer back to the directions you used when creating a student
account. Try accessing the course section above and below your course
section. If you are in the wrong course section, contact your instructor
so that she/he can move you to another section. If you are still unable
to login contact the Reference Desk at the Rosenberg Library or your instructor.
Use a familiar password, such as your email password because every time
you login to the WebCT Speech Tutorial, you will be asked to Login with
your WebCT ID number, which is your CCSF student ID number and your password.
When I try
to take a quiz nothing happens?
Sometimes
the windows for WebCT will not work if you have a Pop-up Blocker installed
on your computer. Temporarily disable the blocker and the window should
pop-up.
If you have
further questions or problems please contact the Rosenberg Library Reference
desk at 415-452-5543 or use the general CCSF number,
415-239-3000.
