Long Appraisal Company was formed in 1984, after nine years as a Senior Appraiser and Assistant Vice President with Bank of America. Mr. Long had been trained as an appraiser for his first three years in San Francisco. Since that time, of his appraisal assignments have been in San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara and Alameda Counties. There have been occasional assignments out of the area and out of state. Long Appraisal Company has had experience in the appraisal of a wide range of properties, including: retail, residential, industrial, medical and general offices, health care facilities, specialized use buildings, right-of-way, condemnation, easement valuation, partial interest valuations, vacant land and developmental projects. Mr. Long has had appraisal assignments that resulted in values in excess of $100,000,000 His experience in a wide range of property types and values have become a valuable asset in his appraisal, reviewing, consulting. and teaching career.

Mr. Long has been qualified as an expert witness in the Superior Courts of San Francisco and San Mateo Counties. As well as in the Municipal Court of San Matec County. He has also represented clients for property tax appeals.
