So you think you might want to be a Radiologic Technologist or
Radiation Therapist?
If you don’t want to go to college for 4 years
only to find out no one wants to hire you…
Or if you need a change in careers because they no longer need you,
or you no longer want them…
And you don’t mind starting out at a great salary,
with jobs so in demand that prospective employees
come looking for you.......
If you love working with computers
and the latest medical technology, but
don’t want to be chained to a desk all day…
If you don’t mind working
so hard that some days

you’ll be too tired to go to the gym…
And don’t mind sleeping like a baby at night
because you don’t have to take your job
home with you…
If you enjoy working as a team with other professionals,
and the thought of making lots of new friends
(and maybe meeting the love of your life like I did)
doesn’t sound half bad….

If it doesn’t bother you to laugh a lot,
but sometimes choke back some tears…
If you can handle working with people
who are so elderly or ill,
they are ready to end their journey in life…
Or dealing with babies so excited to begin their journey,
they literally burst forth from the womb weeks ahead of schedule...

If you don’t mind working with patients of
every conceivable race,
age, creed, economic level or walk of life...
If you like occasionally having wonderful experiences with some
of the patients you work with, but can handle working with some
that challenge your ability to remain even-tempered and non-judgmental…
If the thought of walking into work each morning knowing
you are probably going to have some intense experiences
both good and bad, excites you…
And you like knowing that you are helping humanity in some small way…
Then maybe
Radiologic Technology

is the career for you!
