October 2005

10/31, Ocean Campus, 1340 hours - An officer on patrol was flagged down regarding a stolen vehicle in the Reservoir parking lot.  A student said his vehicle was stolen while he attended class.  An officer searching the area, found the stolen vehicle in another part of the Reservoir.  The vehicle's ignition was punched and the stereo was missing - Officer Milowe reporting.

10/28, Ocean Campus, 1840 hours - An officer on patrol spotted a person walking in the Reservoir parking lot holding what appeared to be a samurai sword.  On closer inspection the sword was a martial arts style wooden sword.  Since the person in possession of the sword was a minor, the sword was taken for safe keeping - Officer Borrego reporting.

10/28, Ocean Campus, 1117 hours - Officers responded to Ocean Avenue and Phelan Avenue on a report of a student robbed at gun point.  The student told police that three men approached him and one of the three took his I-Pod.  The student said he confronted the suspects; at which point, one of them brandished a handgun and threatened to shoot him.  SFCCD Police and SFPD units searched the area for the suspects with negative results.  SFPD Robbery Detail was also advised of the incident - Officer  Ngoi reporting

10/28, Ocean Campus, 1035 hours - Officer responded to a report of a fight in front of the Student Union.  The two parties involved were separated prior to officers arriving.  Neither student wanted to press charges.  The incident was diverted to the Dean of Students for disciplinary action - Officer Milowe reporting.

10/27, Ocean Campus, 1445 hours - An officer was dispatched to the Reservoir parking lot regarding a possible stolen vehicle.  A student reported his vehicle was stolen.  The officer checked that are for the vehicle with negative results - Officer Smith reporting.

10/27, Evans Campus, 1145 hours - An officer was dispatched to a report of a stolen vehicle.  A student said someone stole his vehicle sometime during the day - Officer Ngoi reporting.

10/26, Southeast Campus, 1430 hours - A counter report was taken regarding a theft.  A teacher told police that his cellular phone was stolen from his desk - Officer Edwards reporting.

10/26, Ocean Campus, 0810 hours - A counter report was taken regarding threats.  An employee of the college reported he felt threatened by a student - Officer Hector reporting.

10/26, Ocean Campus, 0759 hours - A counter report was taken regarding a hit and run report on Havelock Street.  A person reported a vehicle turning around in a tight spot bumped a parked car and drove off - Officer Smith reporting.

10/21, Ocean Campus, 1229 hours - Officers were dispatched to Batmale Hall on a report of several people smoking marijuana.  Officers arrived and detained three subjects.  Officers recovered a small amount of marijuana.  Due to the amount of marijuana, two of the subjects were referred to the Dean of Students for discipline and one of the subjects, a non-student, was given a trespassing admonishment and released - Officer Milowe reporting.

10/20, Southeast Campus, 1800 hours - An officer on patrol noticed a vehicle in the parking lot with a shattered window.  The officer contacted the owner of the vehicle.  The owner, an employee of the college, said someone broke into his vehicle and stole his personal property - Officer Edwards reporting.

10/20, Ocean Campus, 1420 hours - Officers responded to a report of a fire alarm at the Student Union.  A fire started in a pile of cardboard outside the Student Union.  The fire was mostly extinguished by the building's sprinkler system.  The San Francisco Fire Department finished putting out the fire  - Officer Ngoi reporting.

10/20, Ocean Campus, 1049 hours - An officer was dispatched to Marston Avenue regarding a theft from vehicle.  A student said his vehicle was broken into and he saw what he thought was a suspect leave the area.  The officer put out a description of the suspect and officers check the area with negative results.  The student said part of his stereo was stolen and his dashboard was damaged - Officer Murillo reporting.

10/20, Ocean Campus, 0920 hours - Officers responded to Cloud Circle on a report of a student being stalked.  Officers found the student and alleged stalking suspect.  The suspect was identified and released - Officer Milowe reporting.

10/20, John Adams Campus, 0830 hours -  An officer on patrol noticed new graffiti in front of school - Officer Apps reporting.

10/19, Ocean Campus, 1920 hours - A counter report was taken regarding a vandalism on Phelan Avenue.  A student said someone scratched or "keyed" her vehicle while she attended class - Officer Hector reporting.

10/19, Downtown Campus, 1915 hours - A counter report was taken regarding a bicycle theft.  A student said his bicycle was stolen from in front of the school - Officer Boyko reporting.

10/19, Ocean Campus, 1030 hours - An officer on patrol was flagged down regarding an indecent exposure report in Batmale Hall.  A student told the officer she was in Batmale Hall around 0930 hours when a man came up to her exposed his genitals.  The student said she screamed and the suspect fled the area.  Officers checked the area for the suspect with negative results - Officer Murillo reporting. 

10/18, Ocean Campus, 1515 hours - A counter report was taken regarding a stolen vehicle from Phelan Avenue.  A person reported her vehicle was stolen - Sergeant Low reporting.

10/18, Ocean Campus, 1512 hours - A counter report was taken regarding a theft from Batmale Hall.  A student said her backpack was stolen from an office while she graded papers - Officer Hector reporting.

10/17, Downtown Campus, 1805 hours -  An officer responded to the front of campus on a report of a domestic violence suspect running from SFPD.  The officer spotted the suspect and attempted to stop him.  The suspect struck the officer and ran to a waiting vehicle.  The officer along with an SFPD officer were attempting to arrest the suspect as he entered the waiting vehicle.  The driver of the suspect vehicle began driving away with both officers still holding onto the suspect.  The officers were dragged several feet before relinquishing their grip and falling onto the pavement.  A pursuit ensued which terminated in Daly City, both the driver and suspect were arrested.  The Suspects were booked at County Jail Nine on multiple charges.  The SFCCDPD and SFPD officers dragged in the incident were taken by paramedics to the hospital treatment - San Francisco Police Department reporting.

10/17, Ocean Campus, 1220 hours - An officer stopped a vehicle for making an illegal left turn.  The driver of the vehicle did not have a valid driver's license.  The driver was issued a citation and his vehicle was impounded - Officer Milowe reporting.

10/13, Ocean Campus, 1415 hours - Officers responded to the Rosenberg Library regarding a disruptive student that was removed from campus on 10/11/2005.  The student was arrested for trespassing than issued a citation and released - Officer Ngoi reporting.

10/12, Ocean Campus, 1655 hours - A counter report was taken regarding a stalker.  A student reported that her ex-boyfriend has been following her around and waiting for her after class - Officer Castillo reporting.

10/11, Ocean Campus, 1030 hours - A Police Officer was dispatched to the Rosenberg Library regarding a disturbance.  A student was verbally abusive to the library staff and the Dean of Students.  The student was also verbally abusive to the responding officer.  The student was given a trespass warning and removed from campus - Officer Milowe reporting.

10/04, Ocean Campus, 0815 hours - An officer stopped a vehicle for running a stop sign and failing to yield to a pedestrian.  The driver of the vehicle had a suspended driver's license.  The driver was issued a citation and his vehicle was impounded - Officer Murillo reporting.

10/01, Ocean Campus, 1750 hours - An officer on patrol stopped a motorcycle in the Reservoir parking lot for reckless driving.  The driver was issued a citation and his motorcycle was impounded - Officer Milowe reporting.

10/01, Ocean Campus, 1320 hours - An officer on patrol was flagged down on Phelan Avenue regarding a theft from vehicle.  The victim said his car stereo was stolen and the ignition was punched - Officer Milowe reporting.

10/01, Ocean Campus, 1019 hours - A counter report was made regarding a found knife.  A student found a large, chrome, locking blade knife near Cloud Hall.  It is a felony to carry this type of knife on campus - Officer Smith reporting.
