November 2006

11/30, Ocean Campus, 1516 hours – An officer was dispatched to the Reservoir parking lot to take a report of damage to a vehicle.  A student said someone threw a rock at his windshield – Officer Ngoi reporting.

11/30, Ocean Campus, 1308 hours – An officer took a counter report regarding a lost passport in Cloud Hall.  A student said she lost her passport – Officer Smith reporting.

11/30, Ocean Campus, 1138 hours – An officer stopped a vehicle on Cloud Circle for loud music.  The driver of the vehicle had a suspended license.  The officer cited the driver and impounded the car – Officer Milowe reporting.

11/29, Ocean Campus, 2300 hours – An officer took a counter report regarding a theft of a bicycle in front of Cloud Circle.  A student said someone took his bicycle while he attended class – Officer Torres reporting.

11/29, Ocean Campus, 1725 hours – An officer took a counter report about flyers getting defaced in Batmale Hall.  A student believes that a man claiming to be an instructor is removing and defacing his tutoring flyers – Officer Hector reporting.

11/29, Ocean Campus, 1210 hours – An officer was dispatched to the Creative Arts building on a report of a vandalism on the 3rd floor.  A student punched out the glass on the fire hose door and left the building – Officer Smith reporting.

11/29, Ocean Campus, 1011 hours – While on foot patrol at the Visual Arts building, an officer noticed some students head towards an area know for graffiti.  The officer checked on the students and found them getting ready to smoke marijuana.  One student attempted to leave and had to be physically stopped by the officer.  The student was arrested for delaying a police officer, issued a citation and released – Officer Smith reporting.

11/28, Ocean Campus, 1920 hours – Officers were dispatched to Creative Arts regarding a sick person.  An ambulance was called and the person was transported to the hospital – Officer Borrego reporting.

11/27, Ocean Campus, 1610 hours – Officers were dispatched to Cloud Hall regarding an incident on 2nd floor men’s room.  A student reported that while he used the restroom a man kept looking into his stall and was possibly masturbating – Officer Wong reporting.

11/27, Oakdale Campus, 1600 hours – While on foot patrol, an officer was informed about a book bag that was left on the stairwell.  The officer located the owner and returned the bag – Officer Fiscal reporting.

11/22, Ocean Campus, 1345 hours – An officer took a report of a suspicious person trying to enter the Student Health Center – Officer Hakes reporting.

11/21, Ocean Campus, 1220 hours – An officer took a counter report regarding a theft in the Student Union.  A student reported that someone stole his wallet from his unattended backpack – Officer Smith reporting.

11/21, Ocean Campus, 0900 hours – While on patrol on Phelan Avenue, an officer pulled a car over for unsafe driving.  The driver had no license.  The driver was issued a misdemeanor citation and his vehicle was impounded – Officer Brooks reporting.

11/20, Ocean Campus, 22/08 hours – Two officers were dispatched to Statler Wing regarding a theft.  The student said she left her purse unattended in a classroom, when she went to retrieve the purse her money was missing – Officer Castillo reporting.

11/20, Ocean Campus, 2208 hours – Two officers were dispatched to Statler Wing regarding a theft. While taking the report, another student came forward and reported that she left her purse unattended in a locked classroom and when she returned her purse was ransacked – Officer Wong reporting.

11/18, Ocean Campus, 1006 hours – An officer on patrol pulled a vehicle for running a red light on Ocean Ave.  The driver of the vehicle had a suspended license.  The driver was issued a misdemeanor citation and his car was impounded – Officer Milowe reporting.

11/16, Ocean Campus, 1650 hours – Officers responded to a 911 call of an auto burglary in the Reservoir Parking Lot.  SFPD units also arrived to assist.  After a foot chase, four suspects were detained by SFPD.  The suspects were later released because the witness could not positively identify the suspects – Officer Borrego reporting.

11/16, Ocean Campus, 1146 hours – An officer was dispatched to the Science Building to take a report regarding lost faculty keys – Officer Ngoi reporting.

11/15, Ocean Campus, 1500 hours – An officer responded to a report of a theft in the Science Building.  An employee told the officer that a book she ordered disappeared and is nowhere to be found – Officer Hakes reporting.

11/15, Ocean Campus, 0807 hours – A sergeant stopped a vehicle while on patrol in the Reservoir.  During the course of the traffic stop, the sergeant inspected the vehicle and found illegal modifications which led him to impounding the vehicle – Sergeant Seligsohn reporting.

11/14, Ocean Campus, 1527 hours – An officer took a counter report regarding a theft in the football stadium. A student said he left his bag unattended and found it missing when he finished his run – Officer Wong reporting.

11/14, Ocean Campus, 1345 hours – An officer was dispatched to the reservoir regarding a stolen vehicle.  A student told the officer his vehicle was stolen – Officer Hakes reporting.

11/14, Downtown Campus, 1050 hours – An officer took a counter report about a theft on 4th Street.   A student said his cell phone was stolen by two suspects – Officer Sanchez reporting.

11/13, Ocean Campus, 1740 hours – An officer took a counter report regarding a theft.  A student was in Conlan Hall and left her purse.  She returned to look for her purse, she discovered it missing – Officer Ramirez reporting.

11/13, Ocean Campus, 1401 hours – An officer was dispatched to the Science Building to assist a student who twisted his ankle.  After further evaluation, the nurse from the Health Center advised the student to go to the hospital and get his injury checked – Officer Wong reporting.

11/13, Ocean Campus, 1340 hours – An officer was dispatched to Smith Hall to take a report regarding a theft.  A student reported that she left her backpack unattended at Women’s Resource Center and when she returned her backpack gone.  The student’s backpack was recovered in the men’s restroom – Officer Brooks reporting.

11/13, Ocean Campus, 1334 hours – Officers noticed a person of interest regarding graffiti on Monterey Blvd.  Officers stopped and identified the subject – Officer Castillo reporting.

11/13, Ocean Campus, 0930 hours – An officer was dispatched to the construction site regarding a vehicle accident.  An employee said he back his city vehicle into a parked vehicle – Officer Hakes reporting.

11/12, Evans Campus, 0952 hours – An officer was dispatched regarding a disruptive student.  An instructor said the student was asked to leave the class after being disruptive and threatening an instructor.  The student left the area prior to the officer’s arrival – Officer Milowe reporting.

11/10, Ocean Campus, 1207 hours – While out on patrol, an officer stopped a vehicle for driving the wrong way on Cloud Circle.  The driver of the vehicle had a suspended driver’s license.  The driver of the vehicle was issued a misdemeanor citation – Officer Boyko reporting.

11/09, Ocean Campus, 1330 hours – An officer took a counter report regarding a theft in football stadium.  A student said she left her backpack unattended while she ran and when she returned her backpack was gone – Officer Smith reporting.

11/08, Ocean Campus, 1631 hours – An officer was dispatched to the North Gym regarding an employee who was threatened by a student.  The student was gone by the time the officer got there – Officer Gaytan reporting.

11/07, Ocean Campus, 1853 hours – Two officers on patrol pulled over a vehicle for having a stereo on too loud on Ocean Avenue.  A criminal history check revealed that the driver had $45000 in outstanding warrants.  The driver of the vehicle was arrested and booked at County Jail Nine for outstanding warrants – Officer Borrego reporting.

11/06, Ocean Campus, 1835 hours – An officer was dispatched to Batmale Hall to assist with a sick person.  The officer determined that the student needed medical help and called for an ambulance.  The student was transported to the hospital – Officer Castillo reporting.

11/06, Ocean Campus, 1543 hours – An officer took a counter report regarding a lost item.  The person said that while in the Student Union, he noticed his property missing – Officer Wong reporting.

11/06, Ocean Campus, 1130 hours – Officers responded to the Arts Extension regarding a wanted person.  An SFPD Domestic Violence Inspector requested that a student, wanted for domestic violence, be arrested.  Officers arrested the student and booked him at County Jail Nine for domestic violence and assault with a deadly weapon – Officer Boyko reporting.

11/06, Ocean Campus, 1115 hours – An officer took a counter report regarding a vandalism on Cloud Circle.  An employee reported that someone put a nail in her tire – Officer Hakes reporting.

11/06, Ocean Campus, 1100 hours – An officer was dispatched to the reservoir parking lot to assist with a hit and run accident.  A student reported that his car was hit while parked – Officer Milowe reporting.

11/03, Ocean Campus, 1325 hours – An officer took a counter about a theft outside of Cloud Hall.  A student reported that he had his bicycle stripped of parts while he attended class – Officer Milowe reporting.

11/01, Ocean Campus, 2049 hours – Officers were dispatched parking lot C regarding a vandalism to vehicle.  A student told police someone broke her vehicle’s window while she attended class – Officer Gaytan reporting.

11/01, Ocean Campus, 1240 hours – A sergeant took a counter report regarding suspicious incident.  A student reported that another student would not leave her alone – Sergeant Baccetti reporting.

11/01, Ocean Campus, 0942 hours – While out on  patrol near Batmale Hall, an officer and a sergeant were approached by a Campus Control Aide.  The Aide was worried about threats made by a student.  The student threatened to shoot and murder a campus police officer.  The student was approached and questioned by the officers.  A criminal history check of the student showed he had a warrant for his arrest.  The student was taken to County Jail Nine and booked for his warrant and threatening a school employee – Officer Smith reporting.

11/01, Ocean Campus, 0930 hours – An officer was assigned to take a counter report about a vandalism to vehicle on Cloud Circle.  An employee reported that someone put several nails in her tire– Officer Edwards reporting.

11/01, Ocean Campus, 0902 hours – An officer took a counter report regarding a disruptive student in Cloud Hall.  The instructor told the officer that after a conversation with the student regarding an academic issue, the student vandalized a school property.  The matter was later turned over to the Dean of Students – Officer Smith reporting.
