Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for driving on the
wrong side of the road. The officer noticed a small child not wearing
a seat belt in the back of the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was
driving without a license. When the officer went to speak to the
driver about the suspension, the driver started the vehicle drove
off. The suspect fled at a high rate of speed with the child still in
the vehicle. The driver was identified and a warrant was issued for
his arrest for child endangerment, evading a police officer and

home in the Sunset District to investigate an identity theft.
Officers wanted to talk to a suspect in the incident. While talking
to the suspect, officers discovered stolen items in the suspects
vehicle. The suspect had his vehicle filled with items taken from a
burglary the occurred at the college on 07-02-2007. Officers
arrested the suspect and booked him at county jail. The suspect

The officer was unable to locate the subject. About a half hour
later, a second report of a suspicious person was called in from
Science Building. Again the subject had already left the area. The
officer was able to determine the identity of the person and confirmed
