01/27, Phelan Campus, 1940 hours-Officers were dispatched to a possible domestic violence incident near the Arts Extension building. A witness at the scene gave a description and a direction of travel for the suspect. A Sergeant on Phelan Avenue detained the suspect. The victim was located a short time later. The victim and the suspect both maintained that there was no physical violence and that they were only arguing. No arrest was made in the incident but a report was made and sent to SFPD's Domestic Violence Unit and the suspect's Probation Officer-Officer Smith reporting.
01/24, Phelan Campus, 1107 hours-An officer on patrol was flagged down regarding a fight in the South Science parking area. Officers arrived and found two students fighting. One student continued to viciously beat the other after officers tried to separate the two. The student that officers had seen beating the other student fled when officers got them separated. The fleeing student was arrested by police at Ocean Avenue and Howth Street. Both students refused medical attention and neither wanted to press charges. The student that fled was issued a citation for battery and delaying-Officer Torres reporting.
01/24, Phelan Campus, 1038 hours-An Officer was dispatched to assist a victim of a battery that occurred in the North Reservoir parking lot. The student said that after a verbal argument over a parking space he was slapped. The Officer took the student back to his car, which had been vandalized. The Officer drove the victim around to try and locate the suspect. The suspect was spotted and promptly arrested by the Officer. The suspect admitted to vandalizing the victim's vehicle and was issued a citation for battery and vandalism-Officer Borrego reporting.
01/24, Phelan Campus, 0930 hours-An Officer that was assisting a student in parking lot-K noticed a vehicle burn rubber through the parking lot. The officer stopped the vehicle on Circular Avenue and issued the driver a citation for exhibition of speed-Officer Borrego reporting.
01/24, Phelan Campus, 0930 hours-A counter report was taken regarding a theft in Batmale Hall. A student said she was sitting next to her backpack and when she got up to go to class the backpack was missing-Officer Ramirez reporting.
01/22, Phelan Campus, 2145 hours-An Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for running a stop sign. The driver of the vehicle was driving with no license. Since the driver could not be identified, he was booked at County Jail Nine for driving without a license and his car was towed.
01/22, Evans Campus, 1922 hours-Officers responded to a report of a fight between two students. Prior to the police arriving, a Campus Control Aide broke up the fight. Neither student wanted to press charges against the other. Both students were admonished and one student was expelled-Officer Smith reporting.
01/21, Phelan Campus, 1816 hours-Officers on patrol noticed the strong odor of burning marijuana. The officers approached the vehicle and saw a woman smoking what appeared to be a marijuana cigarette. The woman was removed from the vehicle and arrested. After a search of the vehicle, the officers found a more marijuana in the vehicle. The woman was issued a citation for possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and her vehicle was towed-Officer Smith reporting.
01/21, Phelan Campus, 1800 hours-A counter report was taken regarding an alleged battery in the Science Building. A student reported that after getting into a verbal confrontation with another student he was shoved-Officer Low reporting.
01/17, Phelan Campus, 1015 hours-A counter report was taken concerning a theft from the South Gym. The student said someone broke into his locker and stole his gym bag-Officer Ramirez reporting.
01/16, John Adams Campus, 1210 hours-An officer responded to the front of campus regarding a student being harassed. The officer found the suspect in the incident who stated the alleged victim was his girlfriend and they were just kissing. The officer was unable to locate the victim-Officer Apps reporting
01/15. Phelan Campus, 2200 hours-A sergeant on patrol conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for running a red light. The driver of the vehicle had a suspended driver's license. The driver was issued a citation and his vehicle was towed-Sergeant Seligsohn reporting.
01/15, Phelan Campus, 1745 hours-An officer responded to the bookstore on a report of a suspicious occurrence. A bookstore employee reported that a man came into the store and said "this is a stick-up". The employee was not sure if the man was joking or serious so she reported the incident to police. The incident is still under investigation-Officer Smith reporting.
01/15, Phelan Campus, 1610 hours-A Counter report was taken regarding a hit and run on a vehicle in the North Reservoir parking lot. A student said she parked her car in the morning and when she returned in the afternoon her car was damaged-Officer Zuñiga reporting.
01/15, Phelan Campus, 1420 hours-An officer responded to the Rosenberg Library regarding a theft. A student reported that she left her backpack for a few minutes and when she returned someone had taken it-Officer Ngoi reporting.
01/14, Evans Campus, 1530 hours-A counter report was taken regarding the burglary of a shed behind campus. The door to the shed was forced open and equipment was stolen-Officer Low reporting.
01/11, Gough Administrative Offices, 0322 hours-An officer on patrol noticed a U-Haul truck parked in the lower parking lot. The officer checked the vehicle and saw a person sleeping in the cab of the truck. The officer also saw an open 40oz beer in the center console. The officer had the subject exit the vehicle, at which time the officer noticed a marijuana pipe and a small amount of marijuana on the seat. Subsequent to search, the officer also found two more marijuana water pipes. The subject was issued a citation for possession of alcohol and marijuana in a motor vehicle and released. The marijuana and paraphernalia was booked as evidence-Officer Zuñiga reporting.
