February 2005

02/28, John Adams Campus, 1140 hrs - An officer was dispatched to room 115 regarding a medical emergency.  A student was having chest pain.  SFFD paramedics responded and transported the student to the hospital - Officer Apps reporting.

02/28, John Adams Campus, 1120 hrs - An officer responded to the auditorium on a report of an injured student.  The officer rendered first aid on the scene. the student refused any further medical attention - Officer Apps reporting.

02/28, Gough Administrative offices, 1100 hrs - A Sergeant was dispatched regarding a restraining order violation.  A student said was molested by a person she had a restraining order against.  A instructor intervened and the suspect left.  The Sergeant checked the area for the suspect with negative results.  SFPD's Domestic Violence Units was advised of the restraining order violation - Sergeant Seligsohn reporting. 

02/26, Ocean Campus, 1451 hrs - Officers responded to the Rosenberg Library on a report of a disruptive student.  The student refused to comply with staff requests and was escorted of campus - Officer Milowe reporting.

02/25, Ocean Campus, 1030 hrs - Officers on patrol smelled the strong odor of marijuana in the area behind horticulture building.  The odor was coming from a group of nine people.  One subject was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, issued a citation and released.  Seven of the subjects were referred to the Dean of Students for administrative action.  One of the subjects was recognized as a person excluded from campus and placed under arrest.  A subsequent search of the subject turned up marijuana and assorted paraphernalia related to packaging and selling marijuana.  The suspect was booked at County Jail Nine for possession of marijuana for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia and trespassing - Officer Sanchez reporting

02/24, Ocean Campus, 1940hrs-A counter report was taken regarding threats.  A student said he was threatened by another student-Sergeant Low reporting.

02/24, John Adams Campus, 1445 hrs - A Counter report was taken regarding a battery.  A person came to the college to confront a student.  The subject said the student pushed and punched him.  The subject did not want to press charges - Officer Flood reporting.

02/24, Ocean Campus, 1442 hrs-An officer responded to Cloud Hall on a report of a suspicious person.   It was determined that the person was a danger to himself or others.  The subject was taken to San Francisco General Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation-Officer Torres reporting.

02/23, Ocean Campus, 1715hrs.-Officers stopped to assist a stranded vehicle on campus property.  Further investigation revealed that the driver had no license, and the vehicle was towed-Officer Diao reporting.

02/23, Ocean Campus, 1245hrs.-Officers responded to a minor traffic accident in E lot.  Person making a right turn out of the lot made contact with another vehicle.  Damages included several scratches and a small dent-Officer Sanchez reporting.

02/22, Ocean Campus, 1915hrs.-Officers stopped a SUV driving the wrong way on Marston Rd.  Driver did not have a license.  Vehicle was towed-Officer Diao reporting.

02/15, Ocean Campus, 1830hrs.-Officers were dispatched to the 2nd floor of Cloud Hall on a report of vandalism to a classroom.  Responding officers noticed sixteen one-inch holes had been punched into the north-western wall.   Photographs were taken to document the vandalism-Officer Diao reporting.

02/15, Ocean Campus, 1750hrs.-Officers dispatched to the 2nd floor restroom at Cloud Hall on a report of suspicious activity taking place in a restroom stall.  Custodian had noticed multiple individuals occupying one locked bathroom stall.  One suspect was gone on arrival, second suspect was identified and escorted off campus-Officer Diao reporting.

02/15, John Adams, 1345hrs.  Officer responded to a complaint from an instructor that a student was blocking an exit door and refused to move.  Responding officer was pushed by student-Officer Apps reporting.

02/14, Ocean Campus, 1345hrs.-Counter report.  Employee reported a theft from his office in the Science Building.  Employee reported that someone had accessed his office on the 3rd floor of the Science Building and stolen items from his desk.  Other items had been reported stolen last semester from the same area-Officer Murillo reporting.

02/14, Ocean Campus, 1322hrs.-Student reported that her purse was stolen from the restroom on the 2nd floor of the Creative Arts building.  Student had forgotten her purse on the sink counter and left the room, and when she returned it was gone-Officer Murillo reporting.

02/12, Ocean Campus, 2020hrs.-Officer on patrol noticed a vehicle speeding through the north reservoir parking lot.  Upon stopping the vehicle, it was ascertained that the driver had no registration or proof of insurance.  A citation was issued-Officer Diao reporting.

02/11, Ocean Campus, 1727hrs.-Officers report a vehicle that was reported stolen was recovered in the north reservoir parking lot-Officer Diao reporting.

02/10, Ocean Campus, 2155hrs.-Officers on patrol noticed a vehicle driving northbound on Phelan with no lights.   Driver had no license-Officer Borrego reporting

02/10, Ocean Campus, 1820hrs.-Officer dispatched to Rosenberg Library on a call regarding a disruptive student.  Two students were yelling profanities at library personnel, and were told to leave and refused.  Referred to dean of students-Officer Gaytan reporting.

02/10, Ocean Campus, 1448hrs.-Officers dispatched to Creative Arts on a call of a disruptive student.  Student had been yelling, and when asked to leave by staff, started yelling louder, resulting in a call to the police.  Referred to dean of students-Officer Hector reporting.

02/10, Ocean Campus, 1143hrs.-Officer on patrol recognized a person who was known 290 registrant in the area of Conlan Hall.  Search of area did not turn up suspect-Officer Castillo reporting.

02/10, Ocean Campus, 1230hrs.-Officer took counter report of lost/stolen cellular telephone-Officer Milowe reporting.

02/10, Ocean Campus, 1300hrs.-Officer took report of vehicle stolen from parking lot-Officer Sanchez reporting.

02/08, Ocean Campus, 1410hrs.-Counter report-Student reported that he had been approached and threatened by a person while exiting the north gym.  He did not know the person or understand why he was being approached-Officer Hector reporting.

02/08, Ocean Campus, 1248hrs.-Officer contacted regarding a report of a student who had been assaulted.  Upon investigation, found a student had been approached from behind and struck by person unknown while walking off campus near Balboa Pool-Officer Ngoi reporting.

02/08, Ocean Campus, 0915hrs.-Officers dispatched to report of assault in progress in Cloud Hall.  Upon arrival, discovered a verbal argument had ensued between two students.  No physical assault had occurred-Officer Brooks reporting.

02/08, Ocean Campus, 1026hrs.-Officer dispatched to Creative Arts on report of suspicious occurrence.  Upon arrival, discovered that a lock had been tampered with, possibly by someone attempting to gain entry-Officer Ngoi reporting.

02/07, Ocean Campus, 1340hrs.-Counter report-Person reported theft of property from theater areas the previous week.  Loss of set of earrings-Officer Brooks reporting.

02/06, Ocean Campus, 1245hrs.-Officer on routine patrol observed a large truck stuck in the reservoir.  Driver had attempted to drive and turn on berm, and rear bumper became embedded in pavement.  Heavy equipment tow requested-Officer Milowe reporting.

02/05, Mission Campus, 1150hrs.-Officer on patrol spotted person smoking marijuana on sidewalk outside campus.  Person had additional marijuana in possession.  Cited and released-Officer Castillo reporting.

02/04, Ocean Campus, 1440hrs.-Counter report-Person came to station and reported that their vehicle, parking on Phelan Ave., had been broken into.  Stereo and coins taken-Officer Ngoi reporting.

02/03, John Adams, 1835hrs.-Officer took report of upset student who was striking classroom desks with a stick.  No damage done-Officer Flood reporting.

02/02, Ocean Campus, 1552hrs.-Officer dispatched to parking lot "E" in response to report of juveniles breaking metal window coverings on bungalows.  Suspects gone on arrival-Officer Wong reporting.

02/01, Ocean Campus, 1539hrs.-Officer dispatched to contact student regarding vehicle vandalism.  Student reported that while exiting Cloud Circle, person on a bicycle kicked the passenger door of her vehicle.  Search of area did not turn up any suspects matching description-Officer Borrego reporting.

02/01, Ocean Campus, 1100hrs.-Officer on patrol observed suspect with prior contacts who had been instructed not to return to campus.  Suspect told not to return to campus.  Other involved party initially showed active warrant, but warrant not confirmed-Officer Brooks reporting.

02/01, Ocean Campus, 1304hrs.-Officer dispatched to the scene of a trash can fire on Cloud Circle.  SFFD responded and confirmed the fire was properly extinguished.  Officer Torres reporting.

02/01, Southeast Campus, 1500hrs.-Officer was notified by an employee that a person who was not a student was bathing in the washroom.  This person had been seen doing this on previous occasions.  The officer identified the person and confirmed that she had a $5000.00 warrant for her arrest.  Suspect was booked at CJ#9-Officer Fiscal reporting.

02/12, Phelan Campus, 2121 hours – A counter report was taken regarding a stolen bicycle from the Creative Arts area.  A student said his bicycle and helmet were stolen while he attended class – Officer Milowe reporting.

02/12, Downtown Campus, 1522 hours – An officer on patrol saw a person urinating in public.  The officer detained the subject.  The subject had multiple warrants for his arrest.  The subject was issued a citation for urinating in public then booked at County Jail Nine for outstanding warrants – Officer Milowe reporting.

02/12, Phelan Campus, 1310 hours – A counter report was taken regarding a theft in the Rosenberg Library.  A student said she left her purse unattended while she went to the restroom.  The student said she returned to find her cellular phone stolen from her purse – Officer Hector reporting.

02/11, Phelan Campus, 1745 hours – An officer on patrol noticed a vehicle fail to stop at two stop signs.  The vehicle was stopped on Flood Street.  The driver of the vehicle was unlicensed.  The driver was issued a citation and his vehicle was impounded – Officer Brooks reporting.

02/11, Phelan Campus, 0935 hours – A Sergeant responded to parking lot B regarding a suspicious vehicle.  The vehicle was using a false year tab on the license plate.  The vehicle was towed – Sergeant Low reporting.

02/09, Phelan Campus, 2019 hours – An officer responded to Phelan Avenue on a reported stolen vehicle.  The vehicle was stolen from in front of Riordan High School – Officer Murillo reporting.

02/09, Phelan Campus, 0840 hours – A counter report was taken regarding identity theft.  A student reported that someone was using her social security number – Officer Ramirez reporting.

02/07, Phelan Campus, 1857 hours – Officers on patrol spotted a man illegally dumping in parking lot K.  The man was issued a citation and released – Officer Milowe reporting.

02/05, John Adams Campus, 0730 hours – A counter report was taken regarding a theft.  A student said her purse was stolen the previous day after leaving it unattended in a class room – Officer Brooks reporting.

02/04, Phelan Campus, 2146 hours – An officer on patrol noticed a vehicle driving on the wrong side of the road to avoid traffic.  A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle near Phelan and Judson Avenues.  The driver of the vehicle had a suspended driver’s license.  The driver was issued a citation and her vehicle was impounded – Officer Murillo reporting.

02/04, Phelan Campus, 1905 hours – An officer on patrol spotted a suspicious vehicle parked on the A-strip parking lot.  The vehicle turned out to be stolen.  The vehicle was recovered for the owner – Officer Murillo reporting.

02/04, Phelan Campus, 1620 hours – An officer responded to a medical emergency at Batmale Hall.  A student attempting to retrieve a hacky sack fell from the fourth level plaza to the third level walk way.  The student was severely injured and transported San Francisco General Hospital by paramedics – Officer Hector reporting.

02/04, Phelan Campus, 1500 hours – A counter report was taken regarding a hate crime that occurred earlier in the day.  A student was harassed and battered by a group of men in front of the Rosenberg Library.  The case was turned over to the San Francisco Police Department’s Hate Crimes Unit for investigation – Officer Smith reporting. 

02/03, Phelan Campus, 1814 hours – A counter report was taken regarding a bomb threat.  A person called in a bomb threat to the SFCCD Police Department.  Officers were put on alert for any suspicious activity at all campuses.  The call was traced back to a pay phone and a search of the area yielded no suspects – Sergeant Seligsohn reporting.

02/03, Phelan Campus, 1230 hours – A counter report was taken regarding an assault on Cloud Circle.  A Student said she was crossing Cloud Circle when a man in a van threatened to run her over.  The student went directly to police and reported the incident – Officer Ramirez reporting.

02/02, John Adams Campus, 1000 hours – An officer responded to a report of a vandalism on the first floor.  A custodian said she saw a student writing graffiti in a hallway.  The officer found the student and arrested him.  The student admitted to the vandalism and was issued a citation – Officer Brooks reporting.
