December 2004

12/18, Ocean Campus, 1330 hours-Counter report.  Student reported that she went into Smith Hall, and left her purse in restroom.  Upon return, she discovered her purse missing.   Teacher turned in missing purse to station will all contents intact-Officer Wong reporting.

12/17, Ocean Campus, 1520 hours-Officers dispatched to report of drug use adjacent to H lot.  Two suspects were discovered in possession of marijuana.  Suspects cited and released on the scene-Sgt. Seligsohn reporting.

12/16, Ocean Campus, 1415 hours-Counter report.   Employee reported that unknown suspect attempted to pry lock on his car.  Entry was not successful, no items taken.  Damage sustained to door and lock of vehicle-Officer Hector reporting.

12/15, Ocean Campus, 1405 hours-Officers dispatched to scene of vehicle accident, no injuries.  One driver cited for suspended license-Officer Murillo reporting.

12/13, Ocean Campus, 1136 hours-Officer flagged down to take report of vehicle burglary.  Vehicle had been entered and stereo was taken as well as other small items-Officer Wong reporting.

12/10, Ocean Campus, 1100 hours-Officers responded to call of a suspicious person on the first floor of Cloud Hall.  Suspect was talking to himself and yelling.  When approached by officers, he became verbally abusive and aggressive.  Arrest made-Officer Torres reporting.

12/9, Ocean Campus, 1930 hours-Counter report.  Employee reported parking vehicle in Lot B.  Window was smashed, with no items taken-Officer Hector reporting.

12/09,  Alemany Campus, 1415 hours-Employee parking in school parking lot reported his vehicle window smashed-no items taken-Officer Gamarra reporting.

12/09, Ocean Campus, 0800 hours-Officer dispatched to take report of a vehicle stolen from the reservoir parking area-Officer Murillo reporting.

12/08, Ocean Campus, 1230 hours-Officer dispatched to "N" lot to take report of vandalism to vehicle.  Employee reported that vehicle had been scratched on one side with a sharp object-Officer Wong reporting.

12/08, Ocean Campus, 1700 hours-Officer on patrol noted a vehicle make an illegal left turn.  Upon stopping vehicle, ascertained that driver had suspended license.  The vehicle was towed and the driver cited-Officer Murillo reporting.

12/06, Ocean Campus, 0700 hours-Counter-report-Student reported cellular telephone missing from the North Gym-Officer Hakes reporting.

12/06, Ocean Campus, 1220 hours-Counter report-Student reported cellular telephone missing from 4th floor of Rosenberg Library-Officer Hakes reporting.

12/03, Ocean Campus, 1200 hours-Burglary reported at "Lunch Box" cafeteria.  Some cash taken.  Report filed-Sgt. Low reporting.

12/03, Ocean Campus, 1130 hours-Officer was flagged down going southbound on Phelan Ave. by a student who reported his vehicle had been vandalized.  Upon investigation, the vehicle appeared to have been scratched with a sharp instrument-Sgt. Seligsohn reporting.

12/02, Ocean Campus, 1537 hours-Officer dispatched to respond to a physical altercation near the South gym.  Investigation revealed that a student had shouted obscenities at another student and allegedly damaged his vehicle mirror, and threatened to fight him.  Officer took report and interviewed both students-Sgt. Seligsohn reporting.

12/02, Mission Campus, 0906 hours-Student reported an alleged battery by employee.  Investigation initiated-Officer Lopez reporting.

12/01, Ocean Campus, 1000 hours-Counter report-Student reports theft of cellular telephone from her purse at Arts Extension bldg, first floor-Officer Milowe reporting.

12/01, Ocean Campus, 0930 hours-Southeast Campus, administrative staff reported to officer that a high school student had come to school with a toy pistol.  Student interviewed, action taken per Education Code-Officer Castillo reporting.

12/01, Ocean Campus, 1310 hours-Officer on patrol was dispatched to report of a fight in progress at the Creative Arts building.  Upon arrival, found that the disturbance had ended and one of the parties had left.  Information taken and forwarded to the Dean of Students-Officer Torres reporting.
