12/28, Phelan Campus, 1307 hours – An officer on patrol noticed that a vending machine had been broken into – Officer Wong reporting.
12/27, Randall Street and San Jose Avenue, 2300 hours – Officers participating in the “Avoid The 14” sobriety checkpoint stopped a vehicle on suspicion of drunk driving. The driver of the vehicle failed the field sobriety tests. The driver of the vehicle was booked at County Jail Nine on a charge of driving under the influence – Officer Brooks and Officer Alfonso reporting.
12/21, Phelan Campus, 1350 hours – An officer stopped a vehicle for running a stop sign at Judson Avenue and Gennessee Street. The driver of the vehicle had a suspended driver’s license. The driver of the vehicle was issued a citation and her vehicle was impounded – Officer Brooks reporting.
12/18, Phelan Campus, 1132 hour – Officers responded to the Rosenberg Library on a reported theft. A student spotted three men walking around and taking unattended property. After the men left the student called police to report the incident – Officer Ngoi reporting.
12/16, Phelan Campus, 2111 hours – An officer stopped a vehicle for running a stop sign at Judson Avenue and Forrester Street. The driver of the vehicle had a suspended driver’s license. The driver of the vehicle was issued a citation and his vehicle was impounded – Officer Brooks reporting.
12/16, Downtown Campus, 1840 hours – An officer was dispatched to a reported theft in the bookstore. A bookstore employee said that a student became irate over a book return. The employee said the student then blatantly stole an item from the store. The student was later identified and was wanted for several other crimes – Officer Brooks reporting
12/15, Phelan Campus, 2108 hours – An officer responded to the North Reservoir regarding an attempted vehicle break-in. The officer met with the reporting student, who said that someone damaged his vehicle. The officer observed pry marks on the driver’s side door of the vehicle – Officer Murillo Reporting.
12/11, Phelan Campus, 2200 hours – A Sergeant stopped a motorist for running a red light at Ocean Avenue and Howth Street. The driver of the vehicle was unlicensed. The Sergeant issued the driver a citation and impounded the vehicle – Sergeant Seligsohn reporting.
12/11, Phelan Campus, 1400 hours – A Sergeant stopped a motorist for playing loud music. The motorist had a suspended drivers’ license. The driver was issued a citation and his car was impounded – Sergeant Seligsohn reporting.
12/09, Phelan Campus, 2025 hours – Officers responded to the Rosenberg Library on a report of a man harassing female students. The students said the man was masturbating while seated at a computer terminal. The students pointed out the suspect as he exited the building. The suspect ran and eluded the officers. The suspect was later identified in a photo-lineup and subsequently arrested – Officer Murillo reporting.
12/08, Phelan Campus, 1835 hours – A Sergeant responded to Arts Plaza to investigate a person acting in a bizarre manner. The Sergeant arrived and was given a description of the subject by the reporting party. Sergeant found the subject in the Creative Arts Building. A criminal history check on the subject revealed a $5,000 warrant for arrest. The subject was booked at SFPD’s Ingleside Station on his outstanding warrant – Sergeant Seligsohn reporting.
12/08, Phelan Campus, 0915 hours – A counter report was taken regarding a theft in the South Gym. A student said her wallet was stolen after she left it unattended – Officer Smela reporting.
12/05, Phelan Campus, 1035 hours – An officer responded to the Rosenberg Library on a reported theft. The officer met with the student who said her backpack was stolen while she left it unattended. The backpack was recovered, minus her money and credit card – Officer Alfonso reporting.
12/02, Phelan Campus, 1345 hours – A counter report was taken regarding a theft from Cloud Plaza. A student said her bicycle and lock were stolen from the bicycle rack during the course of the day – Sergeant Low reporting.
12/02, Phelan Campus, 2311 hours – Officers were dispatched to the Visual Arts Building regarding a person in the ceiling’s interstitial space. Officers arrived and ordered the suspect down from his hiding place. Officers identified and ran a criminal record check on the suspect, who had a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was booked at County Jail Nine for trespassing, illegal lodging and vandalism, as well as the outstanding warrant – Officer Alfonso reporting.
12/02, Phelan Campus, 1300 hours – A counter report was taken regarding a theft in Rosenberg Library. A student said that her backpack was stolen while she napped. A witness to the theft confronted the suspect. The suspect dropped the backpack and left the area. The student said her cellular phone was stolen from the backpack – Officer Ramirez reporting.
12/01, Phelan Campus, 1340 hours - An officer responded to the Ornamental Horticulture Building regarding a vandalism. A College employee directed the officer to a section of the fence that had been vandalized – Officer Wong reporting.
