August 2005

08/31, Downtown Campus, 1809 hours - A Police Officer on patrol spotted a non-student that he arrested in the past.  The officer told the subject to leave the campus.  The subject refused to leave and started to walk further into the building.  The subject was arrested and issued a citation for trespassing - Officer Bermudez reporting. 

08/31, Ocean Campus, 1416 hours - An officer responded to Batmale Hall regarding a battery on a student.  At least three students were involved in an altercation in an elevator.  None of the students wanted to press criminal charges and all refused medical attention - Officer Hector reporting. 

08/31, Ocean Campus, 1350 hours - Officers responded to the 600 Bungalows regarding a student refusing to leave an office.  The student was given a trespassing admonishment and removed from campus by police - Officer Smith reporting. 

08/31, Ocean Campus, 1340 hours - Officers were dispatched to the bookstore regarding a pit bull attack.  An employee of the college said he was walking in front of the bookstore past a man with a pit bull on a leash.  Without warning the dog lunged at the employee and bit his leg.  The man with the dog fled the area after the attack.  The employee sought medical attention for puncture wounds to his leg.  Officers searched the area for the dog owner with negative results - Officer  Murillo reporting.  

08/31, Ocean Campus, 1100 hours - A counter report was taken regarding a theft from the South Gym.  A student reported her purse,  left attended, was stolen from a shelf while she was in class - Officer Hakes reporting.

08/31, Ocean Campus, 1007 hours - A counter report was taken about a report of a theft from the South Gym.  A student told police that several hundred dollars worth of sports equipment was stolen from his locker - Officer Ngoi reporting.

08/29, Ocean Campus, 1755 hours - A counter report was taken regarding an accident between a bicycle and a motor vehicle.  No one was injured - Officer Hector reporting.

08/29, Ocean Campus, 1430 hours - Officers responded to a report of a person committing a lewd act in the Rosenberg library.  The suspect fled the area prior to police arriving.  A search of the area yielded no suspect - Officer Hector reporting.

08/29, Ocean Campus, 0943 hours - Several officers on patrol spotted a vehicle driving reckless and spinning donuts in the Reservoir parking lot.  The vehicle was stopped and the driver was arrested for reckless driving.  The driver was issued a Citation and released after his Parole Agent was notified.  The vehicle was impounded - Officer Milowe reporting.

08/26, Ocean Campus, 0910 hours - An officer stopped a vehicle on Phelan Avenue for expired tabs.  The driver of the vehicle had a suspended drivers license.  The vehicle was towed and the driver issued a citation - Officer Milowe reporting.

08/26, Ocean Campus, 0856 hours - An officer responded to the bookstore regarding a possible burglary attempt.  There were signs that someone attempted to gain entry into the bookstore through a window - Officer Smith reporting.

08/25, Ocean Campus, 1908 hours - Officers were dispatched to the Science building regarding a burglary.  A faculty member reported that a week prior she found her office ransacked and numerous items missing from her office - Officer Wong reporting.

08/25, Southeast Campus, 1900 hours - An officer on patrol responded to a loud crashing noise in the lobby.  A person accidentally walked into a plate glass window and shattered it.  The person appeared uninjured and refused medical attention - Officer Edwards reporting.

08/25, Ocean Campus, 1345 hours - A counter report was taken regarding a hit and run accident in the reservoir.  A student told the officer someone dented the rear quarter panel of his vehicle while he attended class - Officer Ngoi reporting

08/25, Ocean Campus, 1340 hours - A counter report was taken regarding a theft in the South Gym.  A student said he left his personal property unattended while he played basketball and when he returned his property was missing - Officer Hakes reporting.

08/25, Ocean Campus, 1309 hours - An officer stopped a vehicle on Phelan Avenue for making an illegal left turn out of the Reservoir.  The driver of the vehicle had a suspended driver's license.  The driver was issued a citation and his vehicle was impounded - Officer Torres reporting.

08/25, Ocean Campus, 1215 hours - A Sergeant stopped a vehicle on Phelan Avenue for making an illegal left turn out of the Reservoir.  The driver of the vehicle had a suspended driver's license.  The driver was issued a citation and his vehicle was impounded - Sergeant Seligsohn reporting.

08/25, Ocean Campus, 1120 hours - An officer stopped a vehicle on Phelan Avenue for making an illegal left turn out of the Reservoir.  The driver of the vehicle had a suspended driver's license.  The driver was issued a citation and his vehicle was impounded - Officer Smith reporting.

08/25, Ocean Campus, 0748 hours - A officer stopped a vehicle on Phelan Avenue for failing to yield to a pedestrian.  The driver of the vehicle did not have a driver's license.  The driver was issued a citation and his vehicle was impounded - Officer Milowe reporting.

08/24, Ocean Campus, 1800 hours - A counter report was taken regarding a theft of a bicycle from Cloud Hall.  A student reported that he left his bicycle unattended in a hallway and when he returned his bicycle was missing - Officer Hector reporting.

08/24, Ocean Campus, 0813 hours - An officer stopped a vehicle for running a red light on Phelan Avenue.  The driver of the vehicle had a suspended driver's license.  The driver was issued a citation and her vehicle was impounded - Officer Milowe reporting.

08/23, Ocean Campus, 2105 hours - A counter report was taken regarding a stolen vehicle in the Reservoir parking lot.  A person reported her vehicle was stolen while she attended class.  Her undamaged vehicle was recovered a short time later  - Officer Hector reporting.

08/23, Ocean Campus, 2000 hours - Officers on patrol observed a vehicle with two men in it harass a female student and drive off.  The officers stopped the vehicle on Cloud Circle because neither man was wearing a seatbelt.  The driver of the vehicle had a suspended driver's license and a $10,000 dollar warrant for his arrest.  The passenger was extremely intoxicated and spit on one of the officers.  Both subjects were taken to County Jail Nine.  One subject was booked on his warrant and driving on a suspended license.  The other subject was booked for being drunk in public, battery on a police officer, resisting arrest and giving false identification to a police officer - Officer Gaytan and Officer Borrego reporting.

08/23, Ocean Campus, 1057 hours - An officer on patrol was flagged down by a student in parking lot-A.  The student told the officer that the previous evening he caught a person rummaging through his vehicle and the suspect fled the area when confronted.  The student said several expensive items were stolen from his vehicle - Officer Murillo reporting.

08/22, Ocean Campus, 1652 hours - A officer on patrol stopped a vehicle on Judson Avenue for expired tabs.  The driver of the vehicle had a suspended driver's license.  The driver was issued a citation and her vehicle was impounded - Officer Milowe reporting.

08/22, Ocean Campus, 1520 hours - A Sergeant on patrol recovered a stolen license plate on Monterey Boulevard - Sergeant Baccetti reporting.

08/22, Ocean Campus, 0940 hours - An officer stopped a vehicle for failing to obey a traffic officer in front of campus.  The driver of the vehicle had an expired driver's license.  The driver was issued a citation and her car was impounded - Officer Murillo reporting.

08/20, Ocean Campus, 1205 hours - An officer on patrol spotted a wanted suspect in the bookstore.  The officer arrested the suspect and took him to County Jail Nine where he was booked on his warrant - Officer Milowe reporting.

08/19, Ocean Campus, 0900 hours - An officer stopped a vehicle for making an illegal u-turn on Phelan Avenue.  The driver of the vehicle had a suspended license and two warrants for his arrest.  The driver of the vehicle was taken to County Jail Nine and booked on his warrants and driving on a suspended license - Officer Milowe reporting.

08/19, Ocean Campus, 1130 hours - A counter report was taken regarding a pickpocket in front of the bookstore.  A student reported that her wallet was stolen from her shoulder bag while she stood in a crowded area.  The students wallet was later recovered minus the cash - Officer Edwards reporting.

08/19, Ocean Campus, 1043 hours - A Sergeant stopped a vehicle for making an illegal u-turn.  The driver of the vehicle did not know who the owner of the vehicle was and refused to turn off his vehicle.  The sergeant took the driver from his vehicle and handcuffed him with the help of back-up officers.  It was determined that the vehicle was not stolen but the driver of the vehicle had a suspended driver's license.  The driver was issued a citation and the vehicle was impounded - Sergeant Seligsohn reporting.

08/18, Ocean Campus, 1410 hours - Officers on patrol stopped and talked with a suspicious person driving a vehicle in the reservoir.  The driver of the vehicle did not have a driver's license.  The driver of the vehicle was issued a citation and his vehicle was impounded - Officer Murillo reporting. 

08/18, Ocean Campus, 1156 hours - Several officers responded to the third floor of Cloud Hall on a report of a fight.  The fight was over before officers arrived.  A student reported that three suspects threatened to shoot him and one made motions simulating a handgun in her pocket.  Officers were unable to locate the suspects - Officer Smith reporting. 

08/18, Mission Campus, 2015 hours - A counter report was taken regarding a theft of a bicycle.  A student reported that his bicycle was stolen from in front of the campus - Officer Diao reporting.

08/17, John Adams Campus, 1020 hours - Officers responded to a report of a student having chest pains.  The officers called an ambulance and the student was transported to the hospital - Officer Apps reporting.

08/17, John Adams Campus, 0830 hours - An officer on patrol spotted several acts of graffiti on campus - Officer Apps reporting.

08/14, Ocean Campus, 1525 hours - Officers responded to a report of a fire in Cloud Hall.  There was a large fire in a kitchen area and the San Francisco Fire Department was called.   The SFFD quickly put out the fire which was determined to be accidental - Officer Wong reporting.

08/14, Ocean Campus, 1008 hours - Officers on patrol in Cloud Hall located a suspect packaging marijuana for sale in a classroom.  The suspect had also been smoking methamphetamine.  While Officers were arresting the suspect, he tore his hand out of the locked handcuffs and began to fight the arresting officers.  The suspect fought the officers for a few minutes before they were able to rehandcuff him.  One officer severally injured his wrist in the melee.  The suspect was booked at County Jail Nine on multiple charges including battery on a police officer - Officer Murillo reporting.

08/12, Ocean Campus, 1412 hours - An officer stopped a vehicle for failing to yield to a pedestrian on Phelan Avenue.  The driver of the vehicle had an suspended license.  The driver was issued a citation and her vehicle was towed - Officer Milowe reporting.

08/10, Ocean Campus, 1357 hours - An officer on patrol in Conlan Hall detained a student in relation to an alleged battery.  The victim refused to press charges and the suspect was released - Officer Murillo reporting.

08/05, Ocean Campus, 1445 hours - An officer stopped a vehicle on Phelan Avenue.  The driver of the vehicle had a suspended license.  The driver was issued a citation and his vehicle was impounded - Officer Edwards reporting.

08/04, Mission Campus, 1605 hours - An officer was dispatched to a report of a theft.  An employee told the officer her purse was stolen from her desk sometime during the course of the day - Officer Diao reporting.

08/03, Ocean Campus, 1025 hours - A Sergeant stopped a vehicle for making an illegal u-turn.  The driver of the vehicle had an expired driver's license.  The driver was issued a citation and her vehicle was impounded - Sergeant Seligsohn reporting.
