An officer on patrol was flagged down by a subject in the middle of
the street standing next to a running vehicle. The subject said he
was a passenger in the vehicle when the driver stopped in the middle
of the street and fled the area. When the officer tried to help the
subject he became belligerent. The subject was taken to County Jail
for public intoxication and the vehicle was towed Officer Fiscal
