April 2003

04/30, Phelan Campus, 1700 hours-An officer on patrol observed a person exposing himself in parking lot-B.  The officer arrested the suspect for indecent exposure-Officer Murillo reporting.

04/29, Phelan Campus, 1750 hours-An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for driving the wrong way on Marston Avenue.  The driver was not in possession of a valid California Driver's License.  The driver was issued a citation and his vehicle was towed-Officer Murillo reporting.

04/28, Mission Campus, 1500 hours-An officer dispatched to assist an employee whose backpack was stolen.  The backpack minus its valuables was located in the adjoining Downtown High School building-Officer Gaytan reporting.

04/28, Phelan Campus, 0820 hours-A counter report was taken regarding a sexual battery that occurred near Havelock and Edna Streets at 0745 hours.  The student said she was walking to class when a man grabbed her from behind and groped her crotch area.  The student said she fought the suspect and he ran away.  Officers searched the area with negative results-Officer Murillo reporting.

04/28, Phelan Campus, 0640 hours-Officers were dispatched to Smith Hall regarding a suicidal student.  The student reported that he had been drinking and wanted to hurt himself.  The student was brought to San Francisco General Hospital's Psychological Emergency Services for a mental health evaluation-Officer Wong reporting.

04/26, Alemany Campus, 1642 hours-Officers were dispatched to a burglary alarm.  A second call was received from an employee of the college reporting a person in the building.  The employee found the burglary suspect in the building and confronted him.  The suspect fled the area before police arrived-Officer Low reporting.

04/24, Mission Campus, 1240 hours-An officer assisted a victim of a theft.  The victim had her backpack stolen while she was attending class-Officer Lopez reporting.

04/24, Phelan Campus, 1053 hours-An officer responded to the Science Building.  A school employee reported a phoned in bomb threat.  No device was located in the area-Officer Hector reporting.

04/22, Phelan Campus, 2050 hours-An officer on responded to the North Reservoir parking lot on a theft from vehicle.  A student said someone broke into his car and stole his car stereo-Officer Zuñiga reporting.

04/22, Phelan Campus, 2040 hours-An officer on responded to the North Reservoir parking lot on a theft from vehicle.  A student said someone broke into his car and stole his car stereo-Officer Torres reporting.

04/21, Phelan Campus, 1045 hours-An officer responded to the Horticulture building on a reported vandalism.  Someone broke several windows in a greenhouse over the weekend-Officer Murillo reporting.

04/19, Phelan Campus, 1045 hours-Officers on patrol noticed that some vending machines were vandalized outside of the Creative Arts building.  A possible suspect was detained and released after a short investigation-Officer Russo reporting.

04/12, Phelan Campus, 1530 hours-A report was taken regarding a theft at the South Gym.  A student said he had his wallet was stolen from his locker-Officer Zuñiga reporting.

04/12, Evans Campus, 0730 hours-An officer took report regarding a burglary.  The burglary happened at an outside storage container-Officer Borrego reporting. 

04/10, Mission Campus, 1200 hours-A report was taken regarding a theft.  A student said someone stole her backpack while she was attending class-Officer Lopez reporting.

04/09, Phelan Campus, 1629 hours-Officers were dispatched to the Rosenberg regarding a theft.  A student said she had her backpack stolen and gave the police a good description of the suspect.  A search of the area yielded no suspect-Officer Low reporting.

04/07, Phelan Campus, 1930 hours-A counter report was taken regarding a theft from vehicle in the North Reservoir parking lot.  A student said his vehicle was broken into and several items were stolen-Officer Low reporting.

04/02, John Adams Campus, 1225 hours-Officers responded to the second floor regarding a disruptive student.  The student yelled at an instructor and slammed her door so hard it shattered the glass in her door.  The student was gone before officers arrived-Officer Apps reporting.

04/02, Phelan Campus, 1117 hours-Officers on patrol were flagged down regarding racist graffiti in the Rosenberg library.  The officers also found several other incidents of racist graffiti around campus.  The graffiti as photographed and a report was sent to San Francisco Police Department's Hate Crime Unit-Officer Borrego reporting.

04/01, Mission Campus, 1400 hours-A report was taken regarding a theft.  A student said his wallet was stolen from his backpack while he was attending class-Officer Lopez reporting.

04/01, Phelan Campus, 1240 hours-A counter report was taken regarding a theft in the South Gym.  A student reported that his backpack was stolen while attending class-Officer Zuñiga reporting.
