Revenge was sweet for City College of San Francisco as the Rams beat Butte Junior College 48-33 at city campus yesterday to win the Northern California Conference.

Freshman quarterback Joseph Ayoob threw for 265 yards and three touchdowns to help beat the Roadrunners, who defeated the Rams last year for the conference title. Ayoob also ran for 65 yards and one touchdown.

Tim Brown ran for 170 yards on 25, including 110 yards in the fourth quarter. DeQwam Mobley caught four passes for 92 yards and one touchdown. The Rams' defense held Butte to 243 total yards.

CCSF will play in the Northern Cal Championship game on Dec. 6 against either Fresno or Reedley College, most likely at city campus. The winner of that game will go to the state championship game at Bakersfield.
