I am by trade a media artist with experience in 2D/3D
graphics and animation. I have a BA from Ohio Wesleyan
in philosophy with an emphasis in painting and
photography and an MFA from the Academy of Arts in
Computer Arts with an emphasis in digital imaging and
digital video. I went on to work for SOME Interactive to
create 2D and 3D graphics for CD-ROM educational
games published through Maxis and the Discovery
Channel. I have then moved forward to do contract work
as a website and on-line game designer. I presently
teach at San Francisco State University in the Design and
Industry department teaching screen design and
interactivity. Because most class work is both introducing
new applications and media theory, my goal is to
encourage students to imagine the impossible first and
provide practical methods to do the probable.
