I am an award-winning designer, and owner of {designspeak}sm, a full-service design studio providing unique and innovative graphic design solutions for business, music, theater and non-profit organizations. I specialize in corporate identity and visual communication art direction and design for print and web.
I also am a design educator and photographer.
I teach at U.C. Berkeley, Extension Center and the San Francisco Art Institute. My photography focus is in the performance arts. As an artist and professional, I encourage my students to approach their projects using their diverse cultural backgrounds and interests as the catalysts for their creative solutions. My being of a culturally diverse background serves as a motivation and provides a stage for discussions relevant to the projects. I hold a BA from UC Berkeley, and a California Teaching Credential from San Francisco State University.
