Verify that the tape you want can be copied. Call the Language Center at 415-452-5555 or check the tape duplication list at the Castro-Everett CCSF office. Some tapes are available at the CCSF Bookstore and most of the audio resources are also available on the Online Language Lab. Some materials may not be duplicated at all due to copyright restrictions.
Determine the call number and the length of the tape (60 or 90 minutes) you wish to duplicate. Each side of an audio cassette has one call number. This information is available from the tape duplication list in the Castro-Everett CCSF office or by calling the Language Center.
Purchase the correct number, length, and type of blank tapes. Tapes must be NORMAL bias and FUJI, MAXELL, TDK, or SONY brands.
Label your tape(s) with the correct call number, your last name and first initial. If your tapes are used tapes, also write ERASE on the label.
Fill out an order form for each cassette. Forms are available in the Castro-Everett CCSF office.
Pay the handling fee, either in exact cash or by check (payable to CCSF): $.50 per side for 60-minute tapes or $.75 per side for 90-minute tapes.
Your tapes should be available at the Castro-Everett CCSF office in one week. The time required depends on the campus courier schedule. If you have any questions, please call the Language Center at 415-452-5555.
