Explore global and local artistic and cultural expressions, history, and memories. Meet curators, artists, film makers, musicians, & poets. Gain a better understanding of your own identity, and dialogue with your own muse through this multidisciplinary, interactive introduction to museums of San Francisco. Field trips include: SF Museum of Modern Art, the new Contemporary Jewish Museum, De Young Museum, Yerba Buena Center, Balmy Alley, Asian Art Museum, Museum of African Diaspora, Alcatraz Island, and more.

IDST 30.DEMYSTIFYING THE MIDDLE EAST[New Course!]
Counter myths and stereotypes, and discuss critical issues: This interdisciplinary survey of the Middle East introduces the cultural and religious diversity of the region, and highlights multiple disciplines, including art, science, music and literature.
