IDST would like to announce the following accomplishments of several of our department teachers:
TRINITY ORDONA, who has taught IDST 37 Ethnic and Racial Groups in the U.S., was honored as one of the 20 most influential lesbian professors in the March issue of Curve magazine.
LAUREN MULLER, who is chair of IDST and teaches IDST 36 Poetry for the People and IDST 3 Museum Studies, co-edited a newly released anthology of stories written by native American women titled Reckonings: Contemporary Short fiction by Native American Women. (Oxford University Press)
MOZZAM SHEIKH teaches IDST 29 Introduction to Islam, writes and translates fiction from Urdu/Hindi/Punjabi/English. His most recent publication is The Idol Lover, and Other Stories from Pakistan. (Ithuriel's Spear Press) His latest work of translation is Stories of Intizar Husain (Katha).
