Congratulations Professor Palaita
IDST instructor, Dr. David Palaita received Congressional Certificate of Recognition this summer. (Please see attached). Also known as Vika, Professor Palaita teaches IDST 45: Pacific Islanders in the U.S. with the APASS program, IDST 37: Ethnic and Racial Groups in the U.S. with the African American Scholastic Program, and IDST 50: College Success, with the Gateway to College program. He was the featured speaker at the UCB Berkeley Ethnic Studies department graduation last spring, where he was awarded a Ph.D
