Teriyaki Sauce

 

Ingredients:

  2 gal.   Soy sauce (preferably low sodium)
  1/3 cup   Minced garlic
  2 cup   Dry mustard
  3/4 cup   Minced ginger
  2 cups   Minced onions
  10 cups   Brown sugar (may need more)
  3 each   No. 5 cans pineapple juice
    Cornstarch slurry as needed

 

Method:

  • Combine all of the ingredients into a stock pot (except the slurry)
  • Bring to the boil
  • Adjust taste as desired
  • Add the slurry to thicken
  • * If used as a marinade do not heat and thicken!
