Barbecue Sauce

 

Ingredients:

  20   Onions, chopped
  8   Serrano chiles, chopped
  6   Jalapenos, chopped
  3 cups   Garlic, chopped
  10 cups   Ketchup
  10 cups   Worcestershire sauce
  10 cups   Coffee, strong
  5 cups   Molasses
  5 cups   Apple cider vinegar
  5 cups   Lemon juice
  15 oz.   Chili powder
  2 cups   Dijon mustard
  1/2 cup   Ground cumin
  20 cups   Brown sugar

 

Method:

  • Sweat the first four ingredients with oil in a large heavy duty stock pot
  • Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Stir frequently to prevent scorching
  • Simmer for approximately 45 minutes

Yeild approximately 3 gallons.
