Thousand Island Dressing
Ingredients:
| 6 Cups |
Mayonnaise |
| 2 Cups |
Ketchup or Chili Sauce |
| 1/2 Cup |
Pickle Relish |
| 1/4 Cup |
Onion chopped fine |
| 4 Tbsp. |
Pimentos chopped fine |
| 4 Tbsp. |
Black Olives chopped fine |
| 4 Tbsp. |
Parsley chopped fine |
| |
Tabasco Sauce to taste |
| |
Salt/ Ground White pepper to taste |
Method:
- Place mayonnaise and chili sauce in a bowl and blend until smooth.
- Add the remaining ingredients mix thoroughly.
- Taste and correct seasoning with salt, pepper, and Tabasco.
- *Note: Drain pickle relish thoroughly or the dressing will be runny.
Variation:
Russian Dressing: Add 1 cup of lumpfish or whitefish caviar.
Approximate Yield: 2 Quarts.
